I have heard about Circus from my parents as they had visited once in India and told us about it. I get a chance to visit a Circus Show in 2007 when I was in Sweden with my Mother and didn’t missed that chance. I always wanted to see what it looks like and how they perform such difficult stunts.
The news was spread that circus people are rehearsing in our area Tensta. Tents were put in the big ground and vans were parked, they were setting up the place for the big show. Without any delay, my bro purchased the tickets to attend the show. We @shahzad-anari @nazneen-ansari @saif-ul-wahab along with one of my bro’s friend and his family were all ready for the show on 25th May 2007 and went there in the morning.
I was very excited to see the preparations and those big tents. We were on time and the show begins. I was recording the show with my bro’s handycam. A lady riding the horse in circles and performed very well by horse saying thanks to the crowd, putting himself down to one feet.
Second performance was so funny, almost whole crowd was laughing and smiling. Couple in funny fat costume were doing funny things and some beautiful and lovely steps. Then, a funny character not looking like a clown though, came to make the audience more comfortable or was buying the time for the next performance. He asked the kids to join him in few games and it was just ok for me, nothing so special however, kids were enjoying those moments.
Next comes the acrobatic lady on top of the tent, performing some unbelievable gymnastic acts holding the side ropes. She was so relaxed and calm, doing her duty with smiles and having fun. Once again, the horse lady occupied the stage and making number of horses roaming around in circles. I think she was buying the time for next performance. Not to break the momentum or make audience bore, this is the strategy to keep rolling on. The funny character was once again trying best to wake up the audience and engaging them in doing funny stuffs and he succeeded in doing so.
Next performance is of a man and his cute little puppy. They both did a tremendous job by showing their outstanding performance, playing with each other and some professional trained acts.
Am man with a long stick on his forehead and a lady standing on top of that stick. OMG! This was looking dangerous and risky. I was so worried looking at this performance but in the end, they are professionals. He carried on with his further performance of unicycling and doing the same thing with that stick and that lady. Superb!!
A beautiful butterfly lady starts flying in the tent through a rope attached to her head. Once again, unbelievable performance and acrobats. A man juggling with the sticks. Then, the funny show of a tall woman dancing with the funny character. It was so funny, unable to control my big laughs.
Now comes my favorite, which I like the most, lady dancing with the rings. This was incredible and was looking like a spring moving in a speed. Excellent performance and balance by this lady, hats off.
This show was so successful just because of their hard work and more & more practices which has made them so perfect. Because in their duty, just a single mistake can be so harmful so, they make themselves error free and do their job with love and affection. This is the only circus show I have ever seen and no doubt, was an excellent one.
A big round of applause for the whole team of circus show who performed excellent stunts to entertain us and makes us laugh and spread smiles all over the place.
