I think I have once talked about the instrument of money in one of my post or maybe I was talking about it in one of the community here on hive ,I can't really remember . So, it's so interesting to have this as @realtalk prompt , "Does money change people?".
In my own knowledge and understanding, Money doesn't change who a person is, it doesn't change attitude nor character. Money is a tool brings out the real "you" . Many people believe someone change because he or she now has money but that's not true, he is now who he really is, poverty jailed in his or her character then but since there is money now,he or she unlock his true self.
That's why you don't really know someone's character or attitude until that person is rich, people hides their true character when they are not capable to stand alone and would need others help but when they are capable of Standing alone,then they show who they really is. It gives them opportunity to do those things they like to do ,things they would be happy doing .
I have seen someone that was born and brought up in money and he was a very kind person ,he gives to the less privilege and I have seen someone that really suffered before getting to the top and when he got up ,he couldn't render a little help to anyone. Now, I think, is it not someone that has passed through hard time that should be more kind? bcos he understands better how poor people struggles but I realized that isn't the case. The poor man was not a kind hearted person from the start, it was his state of poor that made us think he can't help bcos he is poor but even when he is rich, he will still not help, that is who he is.
Someone once argue with me that money can change someone attitude that's really isn't theirs, he make example of someone that might become stingy when he attain money,not because he wants to be stingy but bcos he is afraid of exhausting the money . If you think this as well, you have to rethink. In this case, we are not talking about giving out all you have but at giving at least little from the one you have , amount that is reasonable compared to what you have.
So, no other way than Money is surely is an identifier of who a person really is ,such as success and fame ,they are amplifier of who a person really is,they never change people If you are kind, you will become more nice, if you are greedy,you will become more greedy. People are amplified by their already shown character when money gets involved.
