If any man be in Christ, Part 4 || All Things are Become New

Behold, All Things Become New

With this series on the subject of the man in Christ, and the main verse being 2 Cor 5:17, we do hope you've come this far to find that the work and the power of God to save a man is a total and complete work of wisdom and superior knowledge of God. It goes beyond our imagination and well above our expectation.

In this Chapter we delve a bit further to clear the clot on the verse and it's reality in every Christian life.

"Old things are passed away, behold, all things become new"

Old things refers to all that partains to the constitution and environment of the man, before Christ, that mans experiences in the past and consequences of what ever he had done in the past are brought to be in the focus here. These things are mostly products and by-products of the fallen man and the fallen nature with and around him. When man fell, it was not only man that fell, the earth fell along and became corrupt, the bible tells us first that

the earth was cursed because of man
"cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;".. Gen 3:17

and also that the earth was corrupted because man was corrupt.

Gen 6.
12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

This emphasizes that satan who was now the dominion holder was spreading the tentacles of his corruption to the earth and as a result the corruption also happened.

Then, God sweeped the earth with a flood, a select of pure animals were saved and they lived in the ark with Noah, being controlled by man, these includes animals we today call wild beasts and terrible ones at that, but for the animals in the sea. But as we know, Noah's story was only a shadow of what God was going to do in Christ. Old things were going to include even the environment and nature around the old man an new things were going to be ushered in, in Christ.

Also consider why they are called "Old" thing, because there must have been a new car in the compound before mum will refer to another as old for an instance. If there is an old, where is the new? There should then be a relatively new thing that rendered the previous as old and needing to be done away with.

Passed Away

This words or phrases is a common one we know to say for the dying or death of a person. When we say, they passed away, or the passed on. But in the context it was used here, in literal terms is to go past something, like walking past a thing, which most likely has lost its relevance. More like what we know as "moving on to things more relevant". In both ways, it still means that somethings are being done away with because they no longer are needed. These are the old things, they may have been thought to be relevant before now, we probably trusted in them and gave them so much attention hoping to find life in them but all they could give never had life.

ALL THINGS

This goes to mean that after old things pass away which means old things died..or were done away with, New things are supposed to arise and form the replacement as there is no vaccume, but what we begin to see are that All things became new. So it means that Old things must have been part of All things, lol. Because the word all means all. The bible didn't say, new things showed up, but that All things, all that God had created, became new.

Now after the flood, God did not go back into the Lab to try mix up some components to remake man, he had already done that along side all things and he new that if he could eliminate the virus in the line of production, he doesn't have to re write the code. The code will regenerate itself. Hence when old things passed away, the code or laws were still in place to ensure continuity of life and order. So after the waters were absorbed, the shrubs came back, the trees and well enough that Noah's Dove confirmed this.

Become New.

Hence "All things become new", meant all things around the new believer receiving a new life that gave them a far better relevance and propriety than they used too.

It just describe a resurrection, from the actual dead. We died with Christ, and we rose with him. This is what makes all things become new.

Let's confirm these with some more scriptures.

Rom 6:4 KJV Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. note
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

Now it stands that all the things that became new, became new by the consistency of the power of God, who raised Christ from the dead and just as consistent as the earth brought forth after the flood, and all the powerful miracles of old and now, God is able to make all things new in the believers' life. Never to be under the power of the old things again, to totally freed and delivered from darkness into the Light of Christ.

Again beyond our focus verse we find there written that All thing are of God.

2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

Yes, as proven earlier, that God created all things and nothing was created without him, John 1:1. So if he has now reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ and also appointed us as servants to reconcile others back to God.

Therefore it means that these New All things all of God, becomes Christ to you and I. He forms every bit of replacement that you may think to have lost and then gives us a ministry of reconciliation to bring many more into Christ.

An evidence that we have recieved that ministry is that Christ becomes our all things. Which reconciled us to God and also makes us reconcile others with the same evidence.

If you dont have it, you can't witness it. if you cant witness it, you dont have it.
