Discovering an interesting anime thanks to a website dedicated to collecting anime on its servers is something I appreciate. I had never really trusted these suggestions, but what they actually do is gather news about new anime or seasons of some that have been around for a while on their home page. That's how I discovered the five seasons of
Kuroshitsuji
This action, dark fantasy, and psychological thriller anime, known in English as Black Butler, introduces us to the young Earl Ciel Phantomhive, a teenager of about 13 years of age who, after being orphaned, became the head of the family and also inherited another responsibility: solving all the mysteries entrusted to him by Queen Victoria, which is why he is known as the Queen's watchdog.
Interestingly, young Ciel has a handsome butler named Sebastian Michaelis, who is actually a demon, bound to serve him by a contract they both made, which, when it comes to an end, will allow Sebastian to obtain Ciel's soul.
This anime is inspired by a Japanese manga that was released in 2006, and two years later, in 2008, the anime began airing. As I mentioned above, in its fifth season, each episode presents the adventures of Ciel alongside Sebastian and his peculiar servants.
In the first season, in addition to introducing us to Ciel, we see how he solves small mysteries and murders that have occurred in London, as well as introducing us to other characters, among whom one stands out with a humorous twist: a grim reaper or Shinigami named Grell Sutcliff, who is obsessed with the color red and is also in love with Sebastian.
Now, the second season touches on a rather heavy topic: pedophilia. Since it does not follow the manga, many do not consider it canon, as it presents the confrontation between Count Alois Trancy and his butler, Claude Faustus, who come into conflict with Sebastian and Ciel. The truth is that it has no direct relation to the plot of the rest of the seasons, although it does present interesting battles.
In the third season, we see the Count and Sebastian investigating the disappearances of children for the Queen, which forces them to infiltrate a circus, where they meet a group of young people surrounded by mystery who, in addition to a shared past, seem to be hiding a dark secret.
From this season onwards, we begin to see many improvements in the anime's animation, which is delightful and allows us to admire one of the favorite characters in this anime, who is undoubtedly its co-star Sebastian, whose true appearance as a demon remains a mystery that has barely been explored to date, but as a butler he looks simply charming and attractive.
This season is followed by a two-episode OVA titled Kuroshitsuji: Book of Murder, about which I will not give many details so that you will be more curious and rush to see it. In addition, there is a movie titled Kuroshitsuji: Book of the Atlantic, which I have not seen, but which I will surely look for to enjoy after finishing this post.
Moving on to the fourth season, which is my favorite so far, Ciel and Sebastian, at the request of the Queen, infiltrate the prestigious Weston College boarding school, where only young people from distinguished families study. Their mission is to investigate the disappearance of students. Ciel's father, Vincent, studied at this boarding school.
In this fourth season, titled Kuroshitsuji: Kishuku Gakkou-hen, a lot of exciting events take place, which help us discover the importance of someone who seems to know a lot about Ciel's family's past, who was an informant for both his father and him and pretended to be a gravedigger, whose name is Undertake.
In the most recent season, which features spectacular animation, Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian travel to Germany to investigate the mysterious deaths of men after entering a forest that is supposedly cursed and inhabited by werewolves. Here, in addition to enjoying the excellent animation, as I mentioned earlier, we get to see another piece of Ciel's past, It is revealed that he had a twin brother who was older than him and whose identity he assumed.
This anime never lets us get bored, as each season or episode presents a different mystery to solve. Throughout the series, we discover a little more about the main character, Ciel, and enjoy the efficiency and coldness of the handsome Sebastian.

Este anime de acción, fantasía oscura y thriller psicológico, conocido en inglés como Black Butler, nos presenta al joven conde Ciel Phantomhive, un adolescente de aproximadamente 13 años el cual tras quedar huérfano, se convirtió en el líder de la familia y además ha heredado otra responsabilidad, resolver todos los misterios que le encargue la Reina Victoria, por lo que se le conoce como el perro guardián de la Reina.
Curiosamente, el joven Ciel tiene un mayordomo, guapísimo, de nombre Sebastián Michaelis, el cual en realidad es un demonio, que está obligado a servirlo por un contrato que ambos realizaron y que al llegar a su fin le permitirá a Sebastián obtener el alma de Ciel.
Este anime está inspirado en un manga japonés que se estrenó en 2006 y dos años después, es decir, en 2008, comenzó a transmitirse el anime, el cual, como ya mencioné arriba, a su quinta temporada, en cada una de ellas nos presentan las aventuras de Ciel junto a Sebastián y su particular servidumbre.
En la primera temporada además de darnos a conocer un poco de Ciel, vemos como va resolviendo pequeños misterios y asesinatos ocurridos en Londres, además de presentarnos otros personajes entre el que destaca uno con un matiz jocoso una parca o Shinigami de nombre Grell Sutcliff, quien está obsesionado con el color rojo y además está enamorado de Sebastián.
Ahora bien, en la segunda temporada se toca un tema bastante fuerte: la pedófila y al no ajustarse al manga, no es considerada para muchos canon, ya que nos presenta el enfrentamiento del conde Alois Trancy y su mayordomo, Claude Faustus, quienes entran en conflicto con Sebastián y Ciel, la verdad no guarda relación directa con la trama del resto de las temporadas aunque presenta batallas interesantes.
Para la tercera vemos al Conde junto a Sebastián investigando para la Reina las desapariciones de niños, lo que los obliga a infiltrarse en un circo, donde conocen a un grupo de jóvenes rodeados de misteriosos y que, al parecer, además de un pasado en común, guardan un oscuro secreto.
Desde esta temporada comienzan a verse muchas mejoras en la animación de anime, lo que es encantador y nos permite admirar a uno de los personajes favoritos de este anime el cual es sin duda, su coprotagonista Sebastián, cuya verdadera apariencia, como demonio, hasta la fecha es un misterio apenas explorado, pero como mayordomo luce simplemente encantador y atractivo.
A esta temporada le sigue una Ova de dos capítulos titulada Kuroshitsuji: Book of Murder de la cual no daré muchos detalles para que les dé más curiosidad y corran a verla. Además, hay una película titulada Kuroshitsuji: Book of the Atlantic, la cual no he visto, pero que seguramente al terminar esta publicación buscaré para disfrutar.
Entrando ya en la cuarta temporada que hasta ahora es mi favorita, Ciel y Sebastián a pedido de la Reina, se infiltran en el prestigioso internado Weston College, en el que solo estudian los jóvenes de familias distinguidas. En esta cuarta temporada, la cual se titula Kuroshitsuji: Kishuku Gakkou-hen ocurren una gran cantidad de eventos emocionantes, los cuales nos sirven para descubrir la importancia de alguien que parece conocer mucho del pasado de la familia de Ciel, que era informante tanto de su padre como de él y se hacía pasar por un sepulturero, cuyo nombre es Undertake.
Para la más reciente temporada la cual cuenta con una animación espectacular, Ciel Phantomhive, y Sebastián viajan a Alemania, para investigar las misteriosas muertes de hombres luego de entrar en un bosque en teoría maldito y habitado por hombre lobo, aquí además de disfrutar como ya mencioné de una animación muy buena podemos ver otro trozo de pasado de Ciel, se descubre que tenía un gemelo que era su hermano mayor y del cual asumió su identidad.
Este anime no nos permite aburrirnos, pues en cada temporada o capítulo hay un misterio diferente. Por resolver y a lo largo del mismo, vamos descubriendo un poco de su protagonista principal, Ciel y disfrutamos de la eficiencia y frialdad del guapo Sebastián.
