Let's get started! As I always like to mention, the program I always use to make all my drawings is Clip Studio Paint, which I highly recommend. My equipment is a graphics tablet, a Gaomon S620! ♡ The first thing I did was the sketch based on the reference, at first I didn't understand the anatomy very well, but I managed to do it briefly. I used the usual brush, I feel I will never be able to beat the “Rough&Colorbrush” ⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚☁️🌱♡‧₊˚
¡Empecemos! Como siempre me gusta mencionar, el programa que siempre utilizo para hacer todos mis dibujos es Clip Studio Paint, que recomiendo encarecidamente. Mi equipo es una tableta gráfica, ¡una Gaomon S620! ♡ Lo primero que hice fue el boceto basado en la referencia, al principio no entendía muy bien la anatomía, pero logré hacerlo brevemente. Usé el pincel de siempre, siento que nunca podré superar el «Rough&Colorbrush» ⋆˚｡⋆୨୧˚☁️🌱♡‧₊˚
Once I finished the sketch, I lowered the opacity on that layer and on another layer on top of that I did the Lineart! ♡ This time I used a different brush for the eyes and more precise elements, I think it's called “Pechi Pen” for anyone who might be interested, for the rest, I used the same brush as always, which its strokes are similar to a marker, although I didn't make the Lineart so thick this time. Here I corrected some things, like the shape of the head to improve the anatomy of the character. After correcting mistakes I was already super happy and satisfied with the Lineart ✩°𓏲⋆🌿. ⋆⸜ 🍵✮˚
¡Una vez terminado el boceto, bajé la opacidad de esa capa y en otra capa encima hice el Lineart! ♡ Esta vez utilicé un pincel diferente para los ojos y elementos más precisos, creo que se llama «Pechi Pen» para quien le pueda interesar, para el resto, utilicé el mismo pincel de siempre, que sus trazos son similares a un rotulador, aunque esta vez no hice el Lineart tan grueso. Aquí corregí algunas cosas, como la forma de la cabeza para mejorar la anatomía del personaje. Después de corregir errores ya estaba super contenta y satisfecha con el Lineart ✩°𓏲⋆🌿. ⋆⸜ 🍵✮˚
With the Lineart ready, I moved on to adding the base colors! ♡ This without skipping the step of first painting the whole drawing in a gray color and activating the “Block Transparent Pixels” option so that the colors I paint over it later don't get out of this that I already painted, it's really useful the truth, so I don't have to be cleaning everything afterwards. I added the corresponding base colors, I always try to put very soft colors, so I really like this step ₊˚ʚ 🌱 ₊˚✧ ﾟ.
Con el Lineart listo, ¡pasé a añadir los colores base! ♡ Esto sin saltarme el paso de pintar primero todo el dibujo en un color gris y activar la opción «Bloquear píxeles transparentes» para que los colores que pinte encima después no se salgan de esto que ya pinté, es muy útil la verdad, así no tengo que estar limpiando todo después. Agregué los colores base correspondientes, siempre trato de poner colores muy suaves, así que este paso me gusta mucho ₊˚ʚ 🌱 ₊˚✧ ﾟ.
Once the base colors were added, I moved on to my favorite part, rendering! ♡ So that it doesn't look all so flat and has more detail, more depth and becomes more of a style. First I always start by adding blushes on the nose and cheek area first, but this time I started by adding the strong shadows first, since they are on most of the face and it's much easier here. Here I just add all the details of the face, paint the eyebrows, eyes, do the lip coloring and everything else. At the end I also put a yellow coloring with the airbrush in the part where it gives more light to Megumi, it turned out very warm and pretty! ⋆🍋🟩♪⋆.✮
Una vez añadidos los colores base, pasé a mi parte favorita, ¡el renderizado! ♡ Para que no se vea todo tan plano y tenga más detalle, más profundidad y se convierta en más un estilo. Primero siempre empiezo añadiendo primero el rubor en la zona de la nariz y las mejillas, pero esta vez empecé añadiendo primero las sombras fuertes, ya que están en la mayor parte de la cara y aquí es mucho más fácil. Aquí solo añado todos los detalles de la cara, pinto las cejas, los ojos, hago el coloreado de los labios y todo lo demás. Al final también le puse un coloreado amarillo con el aerógrafo en la parte donde le da más luz a Megumi, ¡quedó muy cálido y bonito! ⋆🍋🟩♪⋆.✮
Then I moved on to rendering the hair, which, I also did a little differently than the previous times ♡ I added the main hair shadow, then some highlights and gave more texture to the hair by adding small spots. Then I gave other deeper shadows and lastly, those much lighter colored spots and streaks, I love adding that detail!(I also added the yellow coloration of the light) 🌿:✧˚.📷⋆𖧧
Luego pasé a renderizar el pelo, que, también lo hice un poco diferente a las veces anteriores ♡ Añadí la sombra principal del pelo, luego algunas mechas y le di más textura al pelo añadiendo manchas pequeñas. Luego di otras sombras más profundas y por último, esos manchones y mechas de colores mucho más claros, ¡me encanta añadir ese detalle! (También he añadido la coloración amarilla de la luz) 🌿:✧˚.📷⋆𖧧
And finally, to finish rendering the character, I did the coloring of the clothes ♡ I still have a LOT to learn to render the clothes, practice a lot more, but for now I do the best I can haha. I added the lights too, this drawing is really lit in the left area, so I paid a lot of attention to that 🍃🌙🪞✨📜.
Y por último, para terminar de renderizar al personaje, hice el coloreado de la ropa ♡ Todavía me falta MUCHO por aprender a renderizar la ropa, practicar mucho más, pero por ahora hago lo mejor que puedo jaja. También agregué las luces, este dibujo está muy iluminado en la zona izquierda, así que le puse mucha atención a eso 🍃🌙🪞✨📜.
As last details, I wanted to experiment a little with the Lineart (AND I LOVED IT) I painted some areas of the Lineart in white, something that I really liked a lot, it gives good contrast and highlights the colors much more. I also concentrated on making a nice background, which I also based on the reference. I put quite a few little details to this drawing that I hadn't done before, like little blur effects on the face and other areas of our cute megumi! °˖🍃✿°.💚⋆
Como últimos detalles, quise experimentar un poco con el Lineart (Y ME ENCANTÓ) Pinté algunas zonas del Lineart en blanco, algo que realmente me gustó mucho, da buen contraste y resalta mucho más los colores. También me concentré en hacer un fondo bonito, que también basé en la referencia. A este dibujo le puse bastantes detallitos que no había hecho antes, ¡como pequeños efectos de desenfoque en la cara y otras zonas de nuestro lindo megumi! °˖🍃✿°.💚⋆
