On April 6th, I went to the Animation Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition which was held in Ginza, Tokyo (and other venues in Japan later on) with the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie as the focus. I have been very excited about this exhibit because it is the first time and the only JJK event that I am ready to go to, accessible from where I am, and compared to my first attempt at coming, I am healthy and well. The first attempt was 2 weeks before that but I got sick out of nowhere (according to my husbando, I was too excited to go that’s why I got sick).
So, what happened today? What did I see? How was the exhibition all in all?
The exhibition
First things first, it was very organized. Entry to the exhibit is by the hour and within that hour, you are separated into 3 different groups that are alphabetically ordered when you enter the venue. We reserved for 3 PM admission and our group was letter “P”, meaning our entry time is 3:10 PM. You can spend as long as you like inside the exhibit until closing time but you cannot enter again once you go out.

At the entrance, there is a huge poster for the exhibition. Once you enter the venue, you will be greeted by the display of Sukuna and Yuuji’s clothes without the head, which is a reference to episode 6 and the first opening song. The next room reveals the reason why I decided to come to this exhibit. A real life-size depiction of Geto and Gojo’s uniforms when they were students. The sizes are based on measurements revealed by the author.
This was the part where I felt like I’m on cloud nine and started running on autopilot that I almost forgot to take pictures. Oh, by the way, taking photographs is prohibited in the exhibit except for the places they are allowed. Those that are not allowed to be photographed are character sheets for a lot of characters and storyboards of iconic scenes from the anime and the movie. There are also glass-enclosed displays of items each character used or owned, such as weapons, Yuuta’s ring, Inumaki’s throat medicine, and Nobara’s nails and hammer.

In the next room, there stands in the center, a display of Geto’s clothes. I was very interested in Geto’s clothes, so I took a closer look and saw the intricate details on his gojo kesa (the gold cloth wrapped around him). Aside from cosplayers, never in my life have I imagined that I could see a replica of the clothes of my favorite characters. Surrounding Geto’s clothes are storyboard and sample animation clips of Yuuta and Geto’s fight in the latter part of the movie.
Second to the last room is a very dark room with a huge movie theatre-like screen in the back and Yuuta’s sword displayed in an enclosed glass in the center. This room was off-limits for taking photographs so we just immersed ourselves in watching the clip on the screen which is the explosive end of the Yuuta vs Geto fight.
Last and definitely not least, is the room with the life-size Gojo figure. I’ve always wanted to get the 1/7 scale figure of this one but I do not have room to display him so I held up. However, seeing him up close and personally, the urge to buy the figure was surging. Of course, I have to take pictures.. multiples of them. Across the room is another photo spot where you can take pictures with the first-year trio.
My thoughts regarding the exhibition:
Overall, it was an awesome experience. 2 weeks later, I still can't find more words to describe this experience besides "awesome" without exaggeration.
It is actually my first time going to an animation exhibition and as someone who has dreamt of being an animator as a young lass and still has continued interest in animation production, it was interesting to see a glimpse of how the anime and movies I love has been created from storyboard to sample animation and finally the real thing.
The exhibition was sure held in a small space and personally, I feel like there is so much more the organizers can showcase with regards to the movie. Jujutsu Kaisen is just too big to be contained within those small spaces. I am also happy that even though this exhibition is mainly focused on the movie, they included season 1 and materials that have been revealed for the upcoming season 2.
(Note: If you haven’t seen the movie, please do and read my review of it here if you want.)
Alright, for the most exciting part.
EXHIBITION MERCH!!
Here are the merch I snagged when I went. These are only available to purchase when you visit the exhibition. I was worried if I could get anything specific to the exhibition since from day 1, merch related to Gojo and Geto were sold out for days and it caused some irk from the attendees. But thankfully, I was able to get what I have been wanted.

After reviewing this blog, I feel bad for practically dumping so many pictures but I wanted people who will read this to experience even an inkling of what I have experienced so I hope you can look past that. That was just 1/4 of the pictures I took.
Also, 80 something days till season 2 of JJK. I am so excited. Are you?
To the manga readers, how are we feeling about this week's chapter?
Let's scream talk about your favorite characters on JJK in the comments below.
That's it for now.
Remember, creativity is contagious. Pass it on.
Let's be nice to each other.
See you at the next one.
