They are immortal and virtually indestructible beings, possessing extraordinary strength and abilities, including the ability to manipulate matter and energy at a fundamental level. Their appearance is that of a human, but they can reveal their true form, which is often more monstrous or ethereal, when they utilize their powers or when their true nature is exposed.

But beyond her investigative side, her vulnerability and desperation to find meaning in her existence made her incredibly human. Vincent Law, on the other hand, is the antithesis. A tormented character, riddled with guilt and with a nebulous past. His journey is one of self-discovery and redemption, and his struggle to accept his true nature is the emotional driving force of the series.
