Greetings friends, for me it is always a pleasure to share with you my sculptures. Some time ago I started a Dragon Ball collection; well, I've been thinking about building another collection, the one of all the first generation Pokémon, which are 150 if you remember well.
I will start this collection with two Pokémon that are very nice and similar, Omanyte and his evolution Omastar.

Saludos amigos, para mí siempre es un placer compartir con ustedes mis esculturas. Hace tiempo empecé una crear una colección de Dragon Ball; pues bien, estuve pensando en armar otra colección, la de todos los Pokémon de primera generación, que son 150 si recuerdan bien.
Comenzaré está colección con dos Pokémon que son muy bonitos y parecidos, Omanyte y su evolución Omastar.
Step by step
The first thing I started working on was the shells for each Pokémon.
These should be made with a thick strip of plasticine in the color of the shells that the original Pokémon have.
Paso a paso
Lo primero con lo que empecé a trabajar fue en los caracoles de cada Pokémon.
Estos se deben hacer con una tira gruesa de plastilina del color de los caracoles que tienen los Pokémon originales.
As they are snails, to make this shape is as easy as simply rolling the plasticine strips as if they were a roll of fabric.
Como son caracoles, para hacer esta forma es tan fácil como simplemente enrollar las tiras de plastilina como si fuesen un rollo de tela.
The front part is a little wider, this is where the body of Omanyte and Omastar will go.
Notice that their shells are different, Omanyte's is smaller and Omastar's is bigger, but this is not the only difference, as it also has a few spikes protruding from each phalanx of the shell.
La parte delantera es un poco mas amplia, es ahí donde irá el cuerpo de Omanyte y Omastar.
Fíjense que sus caracoles son diferentes, el de Omanyte es más pequeño y el de Omastar es más grande, Pero no es la única diferencia que tiene, ya que este también tiene unas cuantas puas que sobresalen de cada falange del caparazón.
After making Omanyte's little shell, it was time to make the body.
I made it light blue, a color more similar to cyan. This is the color of the soft part of the two Pokémon, so I tried to make it as similar as possible.
I started with a small square to which I added a few tentacles. Four on the back and six on the front.
Después de hacer al pequeño caparazón de Omanyte, era turno de hacer el cuerpo.
Este lo hice de color azul claro, un color más parecido al cyan. Este es el color de la parte blanda de los dos Pokémon, así que trate de hacerlo lo más parecido.
Comencé con un pequeño cuadrado al que le agregué unos cuantos tentáculos. Cuatro en la parte trasera y seis en la parte delantera.
Notice that Omanyte has two more tentacles on the sides of his body, two that are larger, so I put them in place.
Fíjense que Omanyte tiene dos tentáculos más a los lados del cuerpo, dos que son más grandes, así que se los coloqué en su lugar.
For the eyes I simply made two white spheres, to which I put some black plasticine in the center.
Para los ojos simplemente hice dos esferas de color blanco, a las cuales les coloque un poco de plastilina negra en el centro.
To make Omastar I just had to do the same thing I did with Omanyte, only with slightly different tentacles.
This one had the same back tentacles, but in the front I made him something like a star, just like the original character.
Para hacer a Omastar solo tuve que hacer lo mismo que hice con Omanyte, solo que con los tentáculos un poco distintos.
Este tuvo los mismos tentáculos traseros, pero en la parte delantera le hice algo parecido a una estrella, tal como el personaje original.

Unlike Omanyte, Omastar has some much thinner tentacles coming out of the sides. To make them I had to cut several pieces of wire, which I used as a base to cover them with more blue plasticine.
A diferencia de Omanyte, Omastar tiene algunos tentáculos mucho más delgados que le salen a los lados. Para hacerlos tuve que cortar varios trozos de alambre, los cuales usé como base para cubrirlos con más plastilina azul.

The last thing I made were the eyes and fangs. I made them in a similar way to how I made Omanyte's, using black and white plasticine.
Lo último que hice fueron los ojos y los colmillos. Los hice de manera parecida a como hice los de Omanyte, usando plastilina blanca y negra.
This way this pair of figures and the first two of my collection were finished. Below you can see a series of pictures of the final result:
