¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, chicos! El día de hoy les traigo una reseña con mis impresiones sobre uno de los mejores sucesos que se ha llevado a cabo este año 2021 como lo es ¡el regreso de Shaman King a emisión con un formato de reboot!
No saben la felicidad que esto me trae, pues yo veía Shaman King cuando era muy pequeño, recuerdo haberlo visto en el canal Fox Kids, era una de las grandes series que pude disfrutar en aquél entonces en español latino y eso me ha traído un cambio algo extraño con respecto a lo que recuerdo de los personajes, pero solo a nivel de voces y pronunciación de sus nombres, pues todo lo demás ¡está increíble!
Así que quise hacer un post para contarles mis impresiones al respecto sobre este reboot, con algunos detalles geniales para hacer una gran comparación entre la serie clásica y este nuevo formato.
Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you a review with my impressions about one of the best events that has taken place this year 2021 as it is the return of Shaman King to broadcast with a reboot format!
You don't know how happy this brings me, because I used to watch Shaman King when I was very little, I remember watching it on Fox Kids channel, it was one of the great series I could enjoy back then in Latin Spanish and this has brought me a strange change from what I remember about the characters, but only at the level of voices and pronunciation of their names, because everything else is amazing!
So I wanted to make a post to tell you my impressions about this reboot, with some great details to make a great comparison between the classic series and this new format.
¡Evolución de dibujo! | Drawing evolution!
Este es uno de los primeros detalles que noté de inmediato que hizo que mi amorcito @dimeshana y yo saltáramos de la emoción al darle al botón de «play» del primer capítulo; la diferencia de dibujo es completamente abismal, las animaciones son increíblemente suaves y detalladas, las líneas y los trazos son muy diferentes y los personajes tienen un áura un poco más seria.
This is one of the first details I noticed right away that made my sweetheart @dimeshana and I jump with excitement when hitting play on the first chapter; the difference in drawing is completely abysmal, the animations are incredibly smooth and detailed, the lines and strokes are very different and the characters have a slightly more serious aura.
El nivel de detalle en cada escena de los capítulos es completamente espectacular, los colores se ven mucho más nítidos y llamativos, podría jurar inclusive que están utilizando una paleta distinta de colores dentro de la serie para darle otra perspectiva, pero ojo, esto no quiere decir que haya cambiado tanto la estructura de la misma, pues se ha mantenido el argumento, sí puedo decir que ha sido de una forma distinta a como lo recuerdo de aquella época pero no lo han hecho mal hasta los momentos.
Solo he visto 3 capítulos pero me he quedado con una gran opinión al respecto pues todo está en su lugar, inclusive los momentos graciosos o extraños que le restan seriedad de forma premeditada han sido muy buenos, estamos de cara a una nueva cara de esta serie legendaria e icónica de nuestra infancia.
De hecho, si quieren ver el cambio de una manera más detallada, solo fíjense en la evolución del opening de la serie en este par de vídeos que les dejaré a continuación:
The level of detail in each scene of the chapters is completely spectacular, the colors look much sharper and striking, I could even swear that they are using a different palette of colors within the series to give it another perspective, but be careful, this does not mean that the structure of the series has changed so much, because the plot has been maintained, I can say that it has been in a different way than I remember it from that time but they have not done it badly so far.
I have only seen 3 chapters but I have a great opinion about it because everything is in its place, even the funny or strange moments that take away seriousness in a premeditated way have been very good, we are facing a new face of this legendary and iconic series of our childhood.

Cambio argumental | Plot changes
En este punto quiero resaltar el hecho de que he notado junto con mi amorcito @dimeshana que en este reboot han hecho algunos cambios argumentales pero no para modificar la temática de la serie, pues realmente sigue teniendo el mismo sentido que en su versión clásica, sin embargo, la manera en la que se están llevando a cabo los sucesos ha cambiado bastante, eso ha acelerado algunos procesos o los ha vuelto menos exagerados en algunos puntos de la misma.
Para demostrar lo que acabo de decir en este primer párrafo, quiero que vean los sigiuentes vídeos que traigo a continuación, pues en ellos podremos ver la primera batalla entre chamanes utilizando sus poderes al 100%, dicha batalla se lleva a cabo por el protagonista Asakura Yoh y su retador Tao Ren.
At this point I want to highlight the fact that I have noticed along with my love @dimeshana that in this reboot they have made some plot changes but not to change the theme of the series, because it really still has the same sense as in its classic version, however, the way in which the events are taking place has changed a lot, that has accelerated some processes or has made them less exaggerated at some points of it.
To demonstrate what I just said in this first paragraph, I want you to see the following videos that I bring below, because in them we can see the first battle between shamans using their powers at 100%, this battle is carried out by the protagonist Asakura Yoh and his challenger Tao Ren.

Como pueden ver, la batalla se lleva a cabo en ambos capítulos, pero los sucesos que anteceden dicha batalla es lo que ha cambiado en absoluto, al punto de darle un sentido un poco diferente a la serie.
Siento que el cambio de argumento lo que está haciendo es cambiando el sentido de los chamanes, pues se está haciendo énfasis en el hecho de que ellos a pesar de tener sus habilidades y dones especiales, tienen que convivir con los seres humanos normales, entonces quieren enfocar ese hecho de la forma menos fantasiosa posible, y puedo deducir esto por el último vídeo que les acabo de compartir donde Yoh está defendiendo unos humanos porque Ren los está atacando al decir que son parásitos en el mundo, por no poseer sus poderes.
Por ahora no puedo argumentar más nada porque no he visto la serie completa ya que solo van 3 capítulos en emisión hasta el momento; cada día Jueves está saliendo un capítulo nuevo y voy sagradamente viéndolos en emisión junto a @dimeshana.
Una vez que terminemos la serie pasaré por mi blog de nuevo para traerles mis impresiones sobre lo que fue toda la serie y ahí sí poder argumentar con total certeza y base cuáles fueron las diferencias más icónicas entre la serie clásica y el reboot.
As you can see, the battle takes place in both chapters, but the events that precede said battle is what has changed at all, to the point of giving a slightly different sense to the series.
I feel that the change of plot what it is doing is changing the sense of the shamans, because they are emphasizing the fact that they despite having their special abilities and gifts, they have to coexist with normal humans, then they want to approach that fact in the least fantasy way possible, and I can deduce this from the last video I just shared with you where Yoh is defending some humans because Ren is attacking them by saying they are parasites in the world, for not possessing their powers.
For now I can't argue anything more because I haven't seen the whole series since there are only 3 chapters in broadcast so far; every Thursday a new chapter is coming out and I'm sacredly watching them in broadcast together with @dimeshana.
Once we finish the series I will go through my blog again to bring you my impressions about the whole series and then I will be able to argue with total certainty and basis what were the most iconic differences between the classic series and the reboot.

Siento que todos los fanáticos de este animé tan icónico deben estar tan extasiados como yo, esperando ver peleas legendarias como la de Yoh vs Hao para recordar esos buenos momentos de nuestra infancia.
Me encanta estar vivo en este momento de la historia de nuestra humanidad donde estamos reviviendo momentos tan épicos y agradezco demasiado a las empresas que hacen esto posible para complacer a la fanaticada.

I feel that all fans of this iconic anime must be as ecstatic as I am, waiting to see legendary fights like Yoh vs Hao to remember those good times of our childhood.
I love being alive at this moment in our human history where we are reliving such epic moments and I am too thankful to the companies that make this possible to please the fans.
