Hello all anime lovers, I hope you are having a great time... today I want to bring you all my opinions about an anime that although it has been recognized a little bit, surely there are people who still don't know it... today I will talk about the series: My Happy Marriage, and this is one of those series that can make you have too many mixed feelings.. but well, I will try to share my experience with you... I started this anime when it was aired, and the truth, I almost discarded it after the first episode, I thought it was going to be a very boring story, but after the second or third episode, the story turns into something really good... I think that if I would have discarded it, I would have regretted it a lot, first of all, I must tell you that the first thing that stands out in this anime is its animation, it is excellent... the scenery is set in the historical Japan of the Meiji era... it is so full of details, and there is an atmosphere that you can almost feel the weight of that period.
Everything is recreated very well, in terms of historical quality, it's very faithful, and this is always a pleasure to watch.. every scene is amazing, the soft lighting, the color palette that changes constantly and adapts perfectly to the situations, from somber to more vibrant moments, every detail adds so much to the narrative. I think it's an amazing animation, which you will surely love, as it has so many details... this is the kind of anime that makes you want to frame little screenshots on your wall, as there are certain shots that wow, would look perfect as a painting. Well, telling you a little bit about the plot of the story itself, we will meet Mio... she will be our protagonist and where could we start with her story? She is a girl who has been through a lot, she has had a lot of emotional, physical wounds, and her family is total trash.. I'm talking about a level of cruelty that makes you scream at the screen very loudly, it even made me think how someone can really be so evil and disgusting...
Her father is a cold as an iceberg person.. her stepmother and stepsister are straight out of a fairy tale villain manual, they are despicable.. and Mio is one of those girls that just affects her fate, in a very sad way.. viewers can really sense how broken she is inside, there is a certain point where she believes that everything she lives through she deserves it. Watching her endure that treatment was heartbreaking.. i think just one of the reasons that makes you stay watching the anime is because you know her life will get better and you want to see that so badly.
Hola a todos amantes del anime, espero que estén pasándola super bien.. hoy quiero traerles a todos ustedes mis opiniones sobre un anime que si bien ha sido reconocido un poco, seguramente hay personas que aún no lo conocen.. hoy les hablaré de la serie: My Happy Marriage, y es que esta es una de esas series que puede hacerte tener demasiados sentimientos revueltos.. pero bueno, les trataré de compartir mi experiencia.. yo comencé este anime al momento de su emisión, y la verdad, casi lo descarto después del primer capítulo, yo pensé que iba a ser una historia muy aburrida, pero luego del segundo o tercer capítulo, la historia se transforma en algo realmente bueno.. Yo creo que si lo fuera descartado, me habría arrepentido mucho, primero que nada, debo decirles que lo primero que resalta en este anime es su animación, ya que está excelente.. el escenario se sitúa en el Japón histórico de la era Meiji.. está tan lleno de detalles, y hay una atmósfera que puedes casi sentir el peso de ese periodo.
Todo lo recrean muy bien, en cuanto a calidad histórica, es muy fiel, y esto siempre es un gusto de ver.. cada escena es increíble, la iluminación suave, la paleta de colores que cambia constantemente y se adapta perfectamente a las situaciones, desde sombrías hasta momentos más vibrantes, todo detalle añade muchísimo a la narrativa.. creo que es una animación increíble, la cual seguramente amarán, ya que tiene demasiados detalles.. este es el tipo de anime que te hace querer enmarcar pequeñas capturas de pantalla en tu pared, puesto que hay ciertos planos que wow, quedarían perfectos como un cuadro. Bueno, hablándoles un poco sobre la trama en sí de la historia, conoceremos a Mio.. ella será nuestra protagonista ¿Y por dónde se podría empezar con su historia? Ella es una chica que ha pasado por muchas cosas, ha tenido muchas heridas emocionales, físicas, y su familia es una basura total.. hablo de un nivel de crueldad que te hace gritarle a la pantalla muy fuertemente, incluso me hizo pensar cómo alguien puede ser realmente tan malvado y asqueroso..
Su padre es una persona fría como un iceberg.. su madrastra y su hermanastra están salidas directamente de un manual de villanas de cuentos de hadas, son despreciables.. y Mio es de esas chicas que simplemente afecta su destino, de una forma muy triste.. los espectadores pueden percibir realmente cómo está rota por dentro, hay cierto punto en lo que cree que todo lo que vive se lo merece. Verla soportar ese trato fue desgarrador.. creo que justamente una de las razones que te hace quedarte viendo el anime es porque sabes que su vida mejorará y quieres ver eso con todas tus fuerzas.
Then we meet the male protagonist of this story, Kyoka Kudo, he will become the fiancé, the one our protagonist will end up getting engaged to...normally you expect the typical cliché of the cold guy, but with a soft side, and yes, at first you get a bit of that, but soon you realize that he is much more than that. From the start you can tell he has a very interesting depth to him...he's a caring person with an integrity that can make you connect with him quickly, I loved how the anime didn't rush their relationship. These two didn't look each other in the eye and instantly say, we're in love.. on the contrary, it's a slow and cautious path, full of little moments where they start to understand each other.. and I love this kind of development, slow and realistic.
Talking about their relationship, let me tell you that the moment when Kudo defended Mio for the first time, I wanted to applaud out loud.. there are several moments where this character puts in his place those who were mean to Mio and it's amazing, I loved it. Finally, he is finally the one who sees Mio for what she really is for the first time.. he decides not to believe the lies her horrible family tells her and it's interesting to see how she also grows through this relationship.. it's not just about the simple savior, but the two of them helping each other heal.. it's honestly a beautiful thing to watch.
Luego conoceremos al protagonista masculino de esta historia, Kyoka Kudo, él se convertirá en el prometido, con el que se terminará comprometiendo nuestra protagonista.. normalmente tú esperas el típico cliché del chico frío, pero con un lado suave, y sí, al principio te brindan un poco de eso, pero pronto te das cuenta de que él es mucho más que eso. Desde el inicio puedes notar que tiene una profundidad muy interesante.. es una persona bondadosa y con una integridad que puede hacer que conectes rápidamente con él, me encantó como el anime no apresuró su relación. Estos dos no se miraron a los ojos y dijeron instantáneamente, estamos enamorados.. al contrario, es un camino lento y cauteloso, lleno de pequeños momentos donde empiezan a entenderse mutuamente.. y a mí me encanta este tipo de desarrollo, lento y realista.
Hablando de su relación, déjenme decirles que el momento en el que Kudo defendió a Mio por primera vez, quise aplaudir en voz alta.. hay varios momentos en los que este personaje pone en su lugar a los que fueron malos con Mio y es increíble, me encantó. Por fin, finalmente es él quien ve por primera vez a Mio por lo que realmente es.. decide no creer en las mentiras que su horrible familia le dice y es interesante ver como también crece a través de esta relación.. no se trata solo del simple salvador, sino que ambos ayudan mutuamente a sanar.. es algo sinceramente hermoso de ver.
Another thing I want to tell you is that this anime is not only romance, but it goes a little further... it also explores themes such as self worth, trauma, healing, and it does it with a lot of authenticity. We will see Mio's transformation as she rediscovers her self worth, and they are very powerful chapters, there are certain scenes where she finally stands up to her aggressors, and she doesn't do it in an explosive or violent way, but with a calm and a resolve that screams strength and inner peace... many of us could learn from this, I swear, there are many chapters that gave me goosebumps. If you've ever felt like the world has beaten you to the ground and you're struggling to get by, I'm sure Mio's story will completely touch your heart and move you deeply.
Talking a bit about the supernatural aspect this series has, because yes, in this story we will see supernatural powers, I first thought like, “there's magic powers again, this is going to ruin everything”, but surprisingly it worked.. these abilities are tied to the struggles of the characters and some social hierarchy of the time, and they add a lot of interesting layers to the story, plus when these powers finally come into play, I will say it feels pretty exciting, and the animation could be better, but it delivers. There are small battles that maybe didn't deserve big explosions of animation or powers, and I still managed to enjoy them... that said, I must say that this anime doesn't seem perfect to me, the pace can feel slow in some chapters, especially if you are used to action-packed stories, and although most of the secondary characters are interesting, some feel quite flat, as if they were there just to move the plot along... but these are just minor details that don't take away the great potential that this anime had.
Otra cosa que les quiero comentar es que este anime no es solo romance, sino que va un poco más allá.. también explora temas como el valor propio, el trauma, la sanación, y lo hace con mucha autenticidad. Veremos la transformación de Mio al redescubrir su propio valor, y son capítulos muy poderosos, hay ciertas escenas en las que finalmente se enfrenta a sus agresores, y no lo hace de una manera explosiva o violenta, sino con una calma y una resolución que grita fuerza y paz interior.. muchos podríamos aprender de esto, les juro, hay muchos capítulos que me pusieron la piel de gallina. Si alguna vez han sentido que el mundo los ha golpeado hasta dejarlos en el suelo y están luchando para salir adelante, estoy seguro de que la historia de Mio les va a llegar completamente a su corazón y los va a conmover mucho.
Hablando un poco del aspecto sobrenatural que tiene esta serie, porque sí, en esta historia veremos poderes sobrenaturales, yo primero pensé como: "hay otra vez poderes mágicos, esto va a arruinar todo", pero sorprendentemente funcionó.. estas habilidades están ligadas a las luchas de los personajes y a cierta jerarquía social de la época, y añaden muchas capas interesantes a la historia, además, cuando estos poderes finalmente entran en juego, diré que se siente bastante emocionante, y la animación podría ser mejor, pero cumple con lo cometido. Hay pequeñas batallas que tal vez no meritaban grandes explosiones de animación o poderes, y aun así logré disfrutarlas.. dicho esto, debo decir que este anime no me parece perfecto, el ritmo puede sentirse lento en algunos capítulos, especialmente si ustedes están acostumbrados a historias llenas de acción, y aunque la mayoría de personajes secundarios están interesantes, algunos se sienten bastante planos, como si estuvieran ahí solo para mover la trama y ya.. pero justamente estos son detalles menores que no quitan el gran potencial que tuvo este anime.
For me, My Happy Marriage is a pretty good anime, it left me with many mixed feelings, it is good dealing with themes such as hope, sadness, joy, anger, and above all it transmits an immense love and a romance that is quite tender... I give it a rating of 9/10. It is not a simple story of two people who fall in love and that's it, but in this plot you will see how they learn to love both themselves and each other. And I think it's always good to find stories that make us see the strength it takes to fight for our own happiness... it's a message we all need from time to time, surely we do. If you are a fan of romantic stories with complex characters and a touch of supernatural powers, you will surely like it, I think it's worth giving it a chance... and well, I liked the soundtrack too, mainly the ending. Para mí, My Happy Marriage es un anime bastante bueno, me dejo con muchos sentimientos encontrados, es bueno tratando temas como la esperanza, tristeza, alegría, la rabia, y sobre todo nos transmite un amor inmenso y un romance que es bastante tierno.. yo le doy una calificación de 9/10. No es una simple historia de dos personas que se enamoran y ya, sino que en esta trama podrás ver como ellos aprenden a amarse tanto a sí mismos como mutuamente. Y creo que siempre es bueno encontrar historias que nos hagan ver la fuerza que se necesita para luchar por nuestra propia felicidad.. es un mensaje que todos necesitamos de vez en cuando, seguramente sí. Si eres de aquellos fanáticos de las historias románticas con personajes complejos y con un toque de poderes sobrenaturales, pues seguramente te gustará, creo que vale la pena dar una oportunidad.. y bueno, la banda sonora también me gustó bastante, principalmente el ending.
