My Weekend Binge
Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing good. Hopefully, no work on the weekend; only quality time with the family and a restful afternoon. It's also a good time to check out content that you may have missed from your #hive friends. As for me, I've rediscovered #anime and watched episode #14 of Solo Leveling, which if you aren't familiar, is an award-winning series created by Chugong. Originally titled Ore dake Level Up na Ken, the show follows the journey of Sung Jin-woo as he transforms from the weakest hunter into a strong and powerful hunter rivaling the established leaders known all over. Hunters are people with special abilities who battle monsters in dungeons that appear in different locations connecting to another world. A must watch for action, adventure lovers.
I also watched the episode #2 of Sakamoto Days. A story about the life of retired hit man Taro Sakamoto and how he constantly uses his assassin skills in his ordinary existence. His former associate Shin Asakura and a crime family daughter he saved from being killed by assassins are now his convenience store employees helping him protect his family from the people in his former life. This is a nice one for me because it shows more depth and complexity. And even if I've only watched two episodes, I found it witty and funny with strong action scenes. Another must watch for anyone interested in action and funny anime.
Finally, I thoroughly enjoyed Chef & My Fridge. It was the funniest cooking show I have ever seen. Looking forward to the upcoming episode #3 on February 2. The other show that I saw was Incognito. I did 2 1/2 episodes already and I still haven't decided if I like it or not, which probably means that I don't. It's a good action drama show, but I found some parts too long or a couple of scenes that wasn't really needed in my opinion. So, I stopped in the middle of episode #3, which I don't usually do for shows that I love. We will see if I go back to finishing this series.
And that's it for today's short post. Have you seen any of the shows I mentioned? What are your thoughts on these? Anyways, thanks for dropping by. I hope that you are all doing well and also had a good, fun weekend with the family or maybe some coffee time with friends.
Love and peace,
