The Gore genre has many fans in the world of Anime but sometimes the anime of this style do not have a deep or involving story and only limited to have hundreds of bloody scenes without much development, however at other times we have anime that combine the Gore in a not so exaggerated level to give an incredible enhancement to its history and development of the same. Another is an incredible Anime Seinen with elements of Horror, Gore and Mystery with several touches of Psychological elements, this anime dates from the year 2012 with a total of 12 chapters and an OVA, the whole story is finished in the same and nothing is missing to tell. Without major Spoiler I will tell you the basics about this great Seinen work but without ruining the most important moments and revelations in this anime.

The story of this anime presents Kouichi Sakakibara a young man who moves to Yomiyama town where his grandparents live and where his late mother grew up, he comes to the care of his grandparents and his aunt Reiko Mikami who will serve as support and guidance in his new life in the school of North Yomiyama which is the same to which Kouichi's mother went and even Reiko will be the teacher's assistant in the same class where his nephew is. Just arriving in this town Kouichi notices that everyone is acting very strangely and there is a tense and even gloomy atmosphere in his class which happens to be the Senior Class 3-3. He soon discovers that the members of this class don't seem to socialize with any of the other students in the school and even have their outside activities such as P.E. alone and away from the other Third Year Classes.

On his first day arriving in this town Kouchi spends the night in the hospital for a small problem of no relevance and in the night wandering the halls he meets a strange and curious girl named Misaki Mei who has a patch over her left eye. Upon leaving the hospital and finally attending classes amidst all the strange atmosphere at school he meets the girl from the hospital and discovers that she is his classmate being in the same class as him but Mei doesn't go to class very often and it seems that everyone in the classroom including the teacher completely ignores her and doesn't care what she does. Driven by curiosity Kouchi decides to follow Mei and ask her to tell him the truth about what is really going on in the school, she warns him about how dangerous this subject is but then tells him the whole truth about the whole Class 3-3 thing and why Class 3-3 is cursed.

It turns out that quite a few years ago there was an incident where a student from Class 3-3 died tragically and in the midst of mourning everyone decided to pretend that he had never really died even leaving his seat empty, but on graduation day the dead student appeared in the group photo as a specter and from that day began the curse of the class which implies that every year a dead person returns from life to be in the class and for that time everyone's memory is altered so that no one knows who the dead person is, Every month death seeks to recover the balance of life that has been altered by the revived dead person and so someone from Class 3-3 or close to them dies in some accident and the only way to avoid it is to exile a student by pretending he/she does not exist and in this way stop the curse but this is not a precise formula. Soon it is discovered that the curse has begun and little by little horrible and tragic deaths happen among the members of Class 3-3.

The entire anime focuses on revealing more and more about the curse in question, the reason for it happening and how to stop it if there is any way to stop it once it has begun. Each chapter has a suspense and psychological terror really incredible without saying that the moments in which deaths happen know how to take advantage of a masterful way all the detail and Gore style to give an extremely shocking result where the viewer really feels the pain of the victim and is impacted by it. In a fantastic way this anime combines all these elements to never get to saturate or fall short in any of them and even until the end has us to the intrigue of what will be the outcome in the final moments of this story. Many anime tend to make some mistakes in the ending or fail to close all the doubts but Another has a frenetic, psychotic and incredible ending that closes in a heavenly way the whole story. As an additional point Another has one of the best openings I've ever seen.

El Género del Gore tiene muchos fanáticos en el mundo del Anime pero alguna veces los animes de este estilo no tienen una historia profunda o envolvente y solo le limitan a tener cientos de escenas sangrientas sin mucho desarrollo, sim embargo en otras ocasiones tenemos animes que combinan el Gore en un nivel no tan exagerado para darle un realce increíble a su historia y desarrollo de la misma. Another es un increíble Anime Seinen con elementos de Horror, Gore y Misterio con varios toques de elementos Psicológicos, este anime data del año 2012 contando con un total de 12 capítulos y un OVA, toda su historia esta terminada en los mismos y no falta nada por contar. Sin mayor Spoiler les contare los básico sobre esta gran obra Seinen pero sin arruinar los momentos y revelaciones más importantes en este Anime.

La Historia de este anime nos presenta Kouichi Sakakibara un joven que se cambia de ciudad y llega al pueblo de Yomiyama el lugar donde viven sus abuelos y en donde se crio su difunta madre, él llega al cuidado de sus abuelos y su tía Reiko Mikami quien le servirá como apoyo y guía en su nueva vida en la escuela de Yomiyama del Norte que es la misma a la que fue la Madre de Kouichi y además incluso Reiko será la asistente del profesor en la misma clase donde está su sobrino. Recién llega a este pueblo Kouichi se da cuenta que todos actúan de una manera muy extraña y se siente un ambiente tenso y hasta lúgubre en su clase la cual resulta ser la Clase de ultimo año 3-3. Pronto descubre que los miembros de esta clase parecen no socializar con ninguno de los demás estudiantes de la escuela y hasta tienen sus actividades externas como Educación Física solos y alejados de las demás Clases de Tercer año.

En su primer día al llegar a este pueblo Kouchi pasa la noche en el hospital por un pequeño problema sin relevancia y en la noche vagando por los pasillos conoce a una extraña y curiosa muchacha llamada Misaki Mei quien tiene un parche en su ojo izquierdo. A salir del hospital y asistir por fin a clases en medio de todo el extraño ambiente que se vive en la escuela se encuentra con la muchacha del hospital y descubre que ella es su compañera de clases estando en la misma que él pero Mei no va muy frecuente a Clases y parece ser que todos en el salón incluido el profesor la ignoran completamente y no les importa lo que haga. Llevado por la curiosidad Kouchi decide seguir a Mei y pediré que le cuente la verdad sobre lo que en verdad sucede en la escuela, ella lo advierte sobre lo peligroso de este tema pero luego le cuenta toda la verdad sobre el asunto de la Clase 3-3 y por qué la misma esta maldita.

Resulta que hace bastantes años hubo un incidente donde un estudiante de la Clase 3-3 murió trágicamente y en medio del luto todos decidieron hacer como si en verdad nunca hubiera muerto incluso dejando su asiento vacío, pero el día de la graduación salió el estudiante muerto en la foto del grupo como un espectro y desde ese día comenzó la maldición de la clase la cual implica que cada año una persona muerta regresa de la vida para estar en la clase y por ese tiempo la memoria de todos es alterada para que nadie sepa quién es el muerto, cada mes la muerte busca recuperar el equilibrio de la vida que ha sido alterado por el muerto revivido y por ello alguien de la Clase 3-3 o cercano a ellos muere en algún accidente y la única manera de evitarlo es exiliar a algún estudiante haciendo como si no existiera y de esta forma lograr de la maldición se detenga pero esto no es una formula precisa. Pronto se descubre que la maldición ha comenzado y poco a poco van sucediendo muertes horribles y trágicas entre los miembros de la Clase 3-3.

Todo el anime se enfoca en ir revelando cada vez más sobre la maldición en cuestión, la razón de que suceda y la forma de detenerla si es que existe alguna forma de detenerla una vez ha comenzado. Cada capítulo tiene un suspenso y terror psicológico realmente increíble sin decir que los momentos en los cuales suceden muertes saben aprovechar de una manera magistral todo el detalle y estilo Gore para dar un resultado sumamente impactante en donde el espectador realmente siente el dolor de la víctima y queda impactado por la misma. De una forma fantástica este anime combina todos estos elementos para nunca llegar a saturar o quedarse corto en alguno de ellos e incluso hasta el final nos tiene a la intriga de cuál será el desenlacé en los momentos finales de esta historia. Muchos animes tienden a cometer algunos errores en el final o no lograr cerrar todas las dudas pero Another cuenta con un final frenético, Psicópata e increíble que cierra de una manera celestial toda la historia. Como punto adicional Another cuenta con uno de los mejores Opening de todos los que he visto.
