What's up anime lovers!
Interested in an affordable and budget-friendly merch store? No worries, I found a store that can both please your inner fangirl and fanboy and provide you with worthy merch that worthy of its price.
So last time, since I have a long vacant time on my class schedule, I decided to take a walk inside the nearest mall to our school with my friends. So while I was walking at the Elizabeth Mall located at Leon Kilat St., Cebu City, I found a merch store that was at the corner of the second floor ( at the left part when you face the escalator). The first time I saw it I was a little bit hesitant since it was small and kind of unattractive from the outside view.
But since I have a long vacant time, I decided to give it a try and explore what's in the store. If you go inside, it was a push door, I really read the sign because I was quite afraid of push and pull doors since I have a pretty embarrassing experience about it before ╥﹏╥. There was a last time that I tried pulling a door that needed to be pushed, and it was embarrassing. So I enter and explore the inside; by the way, it was not my first time entering the store, this experience that I'll be sharing you is my second visit here.
I remember when I was in my first semester, I took a stroll in the mall and entered the store, but it was in a different location than I remembered; it was on the opposite corner of the store now, but I don't know why it was transferred. So that time I met my one that got away, a full set of one-piece posters, or the wanted sign poster for only 120 pesos ($2.16). I was hesitant that time since my budget was limited, and I was thinking about saving my money, so I ended up not buying it. And now I was entering at it again, and I didn't find the poster. I think it got sold or went out of stock, and I really regret not buying it (╥﹏╥).
So back to it, it was a whole load of tempting room—room full of merch, trinkets, and figurines. It makes me realize how poor I am. My reaction was like: Ó╭╮Ò
So be sure to bring money so you won't regret things, not buying that, not buying this.In addition to that, I found BL merch, yeyyy, Jujutsu Kaisen figurines, and other anime merch. Also, if you're a fan of Crayon Shin-chan, there are a lot of figurines of little Shin and friends.
You can also find there stuffed toys like Labubu or small stuffy toys—stuffs that you can hang them on your bags. They have collectible ballpoint pens in SlamDunk, Naruto, Spy x Family, Blue Lock, Identity, Genshin, Crayon Shin-chan, Labubu, and Kurumi for only 79 ph or $1.43 per ballpoint pen.
Ultimately, they have many figurines, and I think if you buy figurines online, this is more budget-friendly. It was a little figurine, but the quality justifies its price, and also the faces of the figurines are cute and cool.
I remember buying a birthday gift for my little brother, which is a collectible SlamDunk ballpoint pen. I got number 7 of SlamDunk, Ryota Miyagi! And it was only for 79 pesos or $1.43.
The quality of the ballpoint pen was like a gel pen; it has a good grip, but the downside of it is the boxes are random. You'll pick a random box, and you'll get a random character design inside of the ballpoint pen.
So the overall ambiance of the store was nice; it has a light that makes you see the price clearly, it was clean, and they always rearrange their products. The air conditioning of the store was commendable—it's really cold there ʘᴗʘ and I'll definitely rate it a 10. The service of the cashier and seller is also nice; they are kind and always answer your question politely. Further, they also let you take pictures of their products and merch.
So if you're wondering of its full location it's inside the Elizabeth Mall on second floor, just near the escalator area. Elizabeth Mall is located at Leon Kilat St. corner N. B. Bacalso Avenue. But anyway, you can search the location easily, and it was near the highway, just beside the highway, honestly.
Also, they have a Facebook page, which is VBox Emall. You can search their Facebook page and see their latest stocks.
So all in all, if you visit Philippines and you're in Cebu plus you're looking for good-quality merch, I'll recommend this store.
Thank you for taking the time to read this!
Until next time again ෆ• .̮ •ෆ
