"Your Name" A story of Love and connection

A few weeks ago I told you about my experience watching the series The Forest Piano and at that time I received a comment from @dedicatedguy who recommended me to watch some Makoto Shinkai movies.
We searched for some titles on Netflix and found "Your Name (Kimi no na wa)", and today I want to share with you our experience with the movie.
The plot of the movie is developed based on quantum physics concepts by contemplating as the center of the story the exchange of "souls" between two teenagers who are distant and for some reason generated a connection.
The protagonist is a girl from a village far away from Tokyo, who is very unhappy with her life and wishes to have a different life, to the point of stating: "I hate this town! I hate this life! I want to be a handsome boy from Tokyo in my next life!".
The Universe indulges her request and one fine day she wakes up in the body of a student boy in the city of Tokyo and lives for a day his experiences, which brings many situations of confusion not only for her and that boy who in turn also experiences what her life is like, but also for all the relatives and friends with whom they relate.

So they go through different situations of exchange, until they decide to leave each other notes so that each one knew what the other had done and could give continuity to their lives without being taken by surprise by the actions of the other.
The story is very interesting because you can see how the exchange between them is also a growth experience because what each of them lacked, they were able to learn from the energy of the other. For example, Mitsuha Miyamiza (girl) lacked strength and character, she didn't know how to set limits and many of her surroundings made fun of her and she didn't know how to make herself respected until Taki Tachibana (boy) provoked several situations where he put a stop to those mistreatments and mockery.
For his part, Taki was very introverted with girls, a bit awkward to be more clear, and he learned from that ying (feminine) energy that Mitsuha brought to him to improve his approach.
I don't know if I'll fall into some kind of spoilers by telling you this, but both teenagers end up falling in love and look for a way to find each other. The big detail: the exchanges occurred in that quantum dimensional space that doesn't correspond to the notion we have of time.

So it's very interesting to see how the characters move heaven and earth to overcome that, besides transcending other obstacles such as death, forgetting each other, dealing with the existential void generated by the disconnection they had, among other difficulties, but from here on I hope you will be encouraged to watch it so I won't tell you any details of its development.
This is a story full of romance, fantasy, beautiful scenery and an ending that will leave you captivated and wanting to see a sequel.

Hace unas semanas les conté mi experiencia viendo la serie "El piano del Bosque y en esa oportunidad recibí un comentario de @dedicatedguy quien me recomendó ver algunas películas de Makoto Shinkai.
Buscamos algunos títulos en Netflix y encontramos "Your Name (Kimi no na wa)", y hoy quiero compartirles nuestra experiencia con la película.

La trama de la película se desarrolla sobre la base de conceptos de física cuántica al contemplar como centro de la historia el intercambio de "almas" entre dos chicos que se encuentran distantes y por alguna razón generaron una conexión.
La protagonista es una chica de un poblado alejado de Tokyo, que está muy inconforme con su vida y desea tener una vida diferente, al punto de afirmar: "Odio este pueblo! ¡Odio esta vida! ¡Quiero ser un chico guapo de Tokio en mi siguiente vida!".
El Universo complace su petición y un buen día se despierta en el cuerpo de un chico estudiante de la ciudad de Tokyo y vive durante un día sus experiencias, lo cual trae muchas situaciones de confusión no solo para ella y ese chico que a su vez también experimenta lo que es la vida de ella, sino también para todos los familiares y amigos con los que se relacionan.

Así van pasando diferentes situaciones de intercambio, hasta que ellos deciden dejarse notas mutuamente para que cada uno supiera que había hecho el otro y pudiera darle continuidad a su vida sin que les tomara por sorpresa las acciones del otro.
Es muy interesante la historia porque puedes ver cómo el intercambio entre ellos, además resulta una experiencia de crecimiento porque lo que le faltaba a cada uno pudo aprenderlo de la energía que le aportaba el otro. Por ejemplo, a Mitsuha Miyamiza (chica) le faltaba tener fuerza y carácter, no sabía poner límites y muchos de su entorno se burlaban de ella y no sabía hacerse respetar hasta que Taki Tachibana (chico) provocó varias situaciones dónde puso un alto a esos maltratos y burlas.
Por su parte, Taki era muy introvertido con las chicas, un poco torpe para ser más clara, y aprendió de esa energía ying (femenina) que le aporto Mitsuha a mejorar su acercamiento.
No sé si caeré en una especie de spoilers por decirles esto, pero ambos chicos terminan enamorándose y buscan la forma de encontrarse. El gran detalle: los intercambios ocurrían en ese espacio dimensional cuántico que no se corresponde con la noción que tenemos del tiempo.
"Las cuerdas representan el tiempo en si mismo. Las cuerdas se tuercen, se tambalean, se desenredan y se conectan de nuevo. Eso es el tiempo". Taki Tachibana
Entonces resulta muy interesante ver cómo los personajes mueven cielo y tierra para superar eso, además de trascender otros obstáculos como la muerte, que se olvidaran el uno de otro, lidiar con el vacío existencial que generó la desconexión que tuvieron, entre otras dificultades, pero de aquí en adelante espero te animes a verla para no contarte ningún detalle de su desarrollo.
Es una historia llena de romance, fantasía, con parajes hermosos y un final que te dejará cautivado y con ánimo de ver una segunda parte.
