Personally, I love the artwork in the manhwa. Each character is well-developed and maintains the magical energy that defines them. This was one of the first manhwas I ever read. I should note that Solo Leveling, Tower of God, DICE: The Cube That Changes Everything, and A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special were the first four manhwas that truly captivated me and pulled me into this world.

To me, A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special, offers something different from other magical stories. It’s a fascinating isekai, but it presents magic in a unique way. Yes, all mages create magic circles, but they also use artifacts. The universe is divided—there are kingdoms and republics. The author also created a terrorist organization that manipulates darkness and seeks to destroy everything, quite similar to the Akatsuki in Naruto.
The story begins with Desir’s loneliness and regret. He completed the labyrinth, he won, but he lost everything. Nothing is the same. After all, humans can’t survive alone. The world has been crushed and turned into an endless shadow. But just when it seems over, a new opportunity emerges—and that ending becomes the beginning.
Now, Desir, a commoner, returns to the past and gets a chance to change the overwhelming reality that destroyed the world. His mission is to gather a team of magicians and swordsmen who can help him fight evil, as well as infiltrate and reform the Havrion Academy.
The world collapsed because only aristocrats were allowed to attend Havrion Academy, while commoners were humiliated and poorly trained. Yet, if the commoners had received proper education and training, they could’ve been a powerful force.
In Desir’s group are: Romantica Eru, Pram Schneider, and Azest Kingscrown. These three individuals met tragic ends in the previous timeline, but Desir now understands that he must save and train them in order to save the world.
The story is tight and doesn't have plot holes. Some parts can feel slow because you’re eager to see the characters’ development. However, this pacing is intentional. It’s not boring at all—it’s just the anticipation that builds as you crave more. The story is truly excellent.
I really enjoy isekai manhwas because they allow the protagonist to rewrite history and confront their own shortcomings. In the process of changing the world, the protagonist is forced to grow—for the sake of the future he wants to protect. That’s exactly what happens here.
Desir Arman undergoes remarkable growth, though he cannot use the same amount of power he had before returning to the past. One thing he immediately notices upon returning is the set of fractures and failures that led to the world’s previous destruction.
This second chance is part of a game, but also a path to redemption. The manhwa is complete, with 268 chapters. I’ve read up to chapter 196 so far. Feel the power of magic—and the need to save humanity.

Me gustan mucho los manhwas de categoría isekai porque permiten al protagonista cambiar la historia y ver sus propias carencias. En ese proceso de cambiar todo, el protagonista se ve obligado a cambiar por el bien del mundo que desea proteger. Es lo que pasa y sucede aquí.
Desir Arman tiene un crecimiento inexplicable, pero no puede usar la misma cantidad de poder que tenía antes de regresar al pasado. Algo que logra notar al regresar al pasado son las fracturas que llevaron al mundo a su destrucción anteriormente.
