Ninja stories have always fascinated me, I find them much more fun than the military aspects of firearms because the ninjas use a lot of fists, melee fighting making the characters more visually appealing and can exploit a whole scene of rivalry, revenge and conflict only with images plus the sound of battle and soundtrack.
Basilisk: The Kouga Ninja Scrolls is an anime of yesteryear that I recommend in this Retro Review for solidly handling the ninja aspects seasoned with a good romance, in my case it is not the romance I'm looking for but if you really like that kind of genre, in this anime you will get that, it's like a Romeo and Juliet ninja.
As I mentioned romance is not my thing, I came for the battles and I got them, they are powerful, some fast, others of strategy and as you will see the anime is not recent and perhaps it has inspired even Ushiha eyes because just in this story are ninjas who handle techniques that are out of our reality but not as much as in other stories, the author tries to make as real as possible the execution of the battle thanks to the training and ancestral heritage of a technique.
For those who like social-political conflicts, in this anime you will also get a bit of that which is just what gives rise to the story, you will hear a lot the term Shogun, that kind of thing I value because it is to learn the political structure of Asia for a certain age, century or era.
A short anime of 24 episodes with three powerful ingredients that are ninja fights, romance and political conflict, in the video you will hear my opinion in all its splendor and emotion that this great anime generated in me.
I dedicate each and every one of my posts and videos to my little dog named princess, we called her chiquito, she is no longer with us but from heaven she will see that her existence was valuable and the most beautiful thing that will exist in my heart and soul.
