It was another normal day in Hellsalem's Lot—a city filled with peculiars and monsters—but not for Libra. Strangely, that day Leo didn't come to Libra, and this got Zapp curious. After attempting and failing to attack him, he immediately asked Mr. Klaus what happened to Leo. Since Mr. Klaus is preoccupied again with prosfair, he answered him hurriedly. Zapp being Zapp—he didn't get what Mr. Klaus had said, so he set out to find out what happened to him.
He was riding his way towards Leo's apartment when he felt something heavy, and it turned out to be none other than, Chain. He angrily shook her off, but Chain just as usual stepped on his face. Thankfully before everything escalated into a full-blown battle, Zed stepped in and told them that a monster was on a rampage on the main street so they immediately went towards it. They thought that it was just another brainless monster rampaging, however, it was something more complex. It got Zed, so even though they didn't want to work together—in the end they're forced to, and the first thing they need to do is to pretend like a couple to infiltrate the enemy's base.
A couple?! Zapp immediately said no, but in the end, his pride got in the way and left with no choice, he agreed. But can these two pull off a normal couple act? Definitely no! Brace yourself with a dose of romcom and ton of secondhand embarrassment as we witness a rather odd couple as they set to infiltrate the enemy's lair—a place where love, lust and lies thrive.
I'm really tempted to make a full-blown fanfic story because although Zapp is most of the time a good-for-nothing, I totally ship him with Chain. Their dynamic as a pair is really entertaining because those two complement each other. I like how Chain can subdue and make this womanizer look pitiful. Apart from his visuals, Zapp is really unlikable through and through. There are times that he seems gallant, but no, don't be fooled because, in reality, he's really (from most of his co-Libra members) an irredeemable human scum. Anyway, I think Chain can somehow straighten this human scum, so I really ship themmmm!
Hai, hai, hai! I think that's enough because if I didn't stop here I wouldn't stop myself from rambling about this ship further (test me! I can really ramble about them for the whole day hehehe). So that's all for now minna-san~ I hope you enjoyed my entry for the Wild Plot Wednesday!
