Konnichiwa Hivers! It's me, your ridgette again, and for today, I'm gonna share with you my entry for this week's wild plot Wednesdays. This is really the favorite plot alteration I've made so far. It was from my usual almost midnight musings because I can't use any gadgets when it's almost past twelve, so I just lay on my bed wide awake pondering—and that's where this what-if emerged.
Earlier that night, I was browsing my fb feed when I came across a post about Boku no Hero Academia (the hype for its ending is definitely still lingering!), and so that's why, in the evening, I suddenly came up with this what-if question in my mind: What if Midoriya wasn't saved by All Might that day he was attacked by a sludge villain? And that what-if gave birth to my entry for this wild plot Wednesday. Enjoy!
Despite the fact that he is quirkless, Izuku Midoriya still dreams of entering the prestigious school for heroes, U.A. High School. Not caring about the cruel tauntings he gets, he decided to move forward—only that his dreams are bound to be crushed.
Attacked by a villain in a dark corner, he struggled to break free from it. Feeling that his body is getting weak, Midoriya pleads for someone to help him. Unfortunately, no one came to his aid, and his once-blooming dreams got crushed that day. He died at the hands of a villain, but with all the grudges and hatred he had, he definitely was not willing to depart.
A week after his death, a shocking incident happened! One of his classmates died grotesquely. Thinking that it was just another villain in action, the pro-heroes just let the students who have provisional licenses do the investigation, but the unknown killings worsened, and most of them were from Aldera Junior High School.
The grotesque killings go on, and later, they reach the headlines. The heroes finally worked together to unmask the mystery behind the killings, and they're aghast when they discover that it isn't a villain—nor a living being—who was behind those killings, for it's the grudgeful ghost of Midoriya!
Defeating someone who's not even tangible seems like an impossible feat for the heroes. Can they stop the phantom behind those remorseless murders? Or will they also be victims of his undying hatred?
