I saw a few episode of this anime with over 10,000 likes on facebook and I thought, maybe it is really a good one to get likes like that. That time I'm also looking for an anime to download because my data subscription's about to expire and I want to download more anime before it happen and this particular anime caught my attention so I downloaded it. Kinda excited watching it because I expected a lot in it.
And seriously, I thought the first episode will be a good one just like any other anime out there with a huge impact to everyone but, I find it really boring. Another reason is I felt like there'll be a Harem in it and I really don't like harem. I thought of dropping it but then i also thought, it would be a waste if I didn't finish the episode 1 and so, I continue watching it and it's a good thing I didn't drop it. The exciting part for me start at episode 2.
So the anime is The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows. It was released this year on Spring Anime Season and has 12 episodes in total. It is already complete so you can start watching it right away, if you want. This is just like a Banished Hero's Party trope, but a bit different. A member party that was banished because of a shitty leader and other members.
Our main character here is Zeno, a healer, a brilliant one but he has no idea how brilliant he is. Even his members doesn't know how good he is and only discovered later on that it is actually Zeno who's carrying them all the time during their adventure. They discovered it too late and Zeno already settled somewhere as a underground healer.
When I read the Shadow on the title I thought it would be like that The Eminence in Shadow where he'll work on the shadow and hide his face while healing people. But sadly it is not, he even got a little elf as a companion and that little girl is another reason why I don't like this anime much. Like they can just make this a wholesome one where the little girl could be a potential sister.

But, goodness me, as I see it that is not the route it's heading and there's really a big chance of Harem. But the good thing is, Zeno really has no thought yet about romance so, he's not that kind of MC that'll blush like a virgin and will make everything so cringe. He's not and seriously, thanks heaven he's not like that. Sorry to those who prefer that kind, it's just me you see. ┐( ̄ヘ ̄)┌
What I like about this anime is that the whole thing about healing, he really has nice healing ability. He is so OP that he thought everything is just easy when in fact, even those high ranking healers are having a hard time healing those with severe injuries. He can even grow back an arm while to some it is already impossible. But to him, it is just easy and will just make him tired a little bit. That's how OP he is.

Another thing is, he is a healer that can fight as well. Seriously, I find everything about it cool, except the romance, harem or whatever. Why every anime with a good potential has to have harem or romance. I'm kinda sick and tired with romance genre to be honest. The problem is me for sure some will love it but not me. Maybe because I feel more "kilig" in Yaoi or BL stories that a straight romance is now ugly to me. HAHAHA
Anyways, i'm nearing the end of the anime and how I wish they show a lot more of his healing power. But there's a lot of drama sh*t for now and as long as they show more of his healing power in the last two episode, I'll surely get excited for it. Just have to skip the harem part where woman will be gathered and surround him again. I really don't like that part!
I'll give this anime 7.8 out of 10 for the healing journey of Zeno, his skills and some scenes of it and 0 out of 10 for romance and harem. And 9 out of 10 for the art style. I actually love how beautifully drawn each characters was. You can watch this if you want, I'm not recommending it but if this caught your attention then better watch the trailer first or 1 and 2 episode and see it for yourself. I'm curious how some people will gonna rate it \(◎o◎)/
