Hello to all the members of this community and anime lovers! For a while now, @tegoshei and I have been talking here on the platform, and after seeing her beautiful drawings, the idea of ​​​​doing a collaboration arose. Like her, I had never done a drawing in collaboration with another person, but it was a desire I had had for many years, so when my friend seemed delighted with the idea, I knew it was our moment to shine 😎✨

First of all, there was the challenge: since we're both from different countries (the Philippines and Venezuela), drawing together in the traditional style might not be possible. But the idea of ​​each drawing her own part and then putting them together suddenly appeared. Great, like a puzzle! So, the excitement to start as soon as possible grew 😌 @tegoshei showed me an image from Haikyuu that we could use as a reference. The pose showed power and determination, so it was perfect for us 💪

When it came to choosing our character, my friend chose Senku from the anime Dr. Stone. I confess I haven't seen the anime yet, but I did know who the character was. For my part, I spent a while deliberating who to choose, since I'm somewhat addicted to cartoons... until my addiction to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure came out, which is in full swing after the news of the confirmation of the anime of part 7 "Steel Ball Run" I can't wait! 😍 Anyway, I love many characters, but my favorite Jojo, without a doubt, is Josuke Higashitaka, I love his personality 😇

When it came to drawing, I didn't know how I would start haha. After deciding on the size of the sheet, I had the challenge of squaring up the drawing. It happens to me a lot that sometimes I tend to cover more space than I need when sketching. When this happens in sketches that I will later convert to digital, I don't worry about it, so sometimes I attach a piece of paper with some adhesive if the drawing goes overboard 😆 But in this case, I couldn't make such an abrupt decision. Although luckily, everything went well and I was able to draw Josuke on the sheet (Sigh of relief). I'm not good at anatomy and the character's hairstyle worried me, but I decided not to think too much about it 😅

To outline it, I used a fine-tipped black marker. I had recently bought one because the one I had had dried out 😆 although the thick-tipped marker for the top and bottom lines made it clear to me that I need to find a replacement as soon as possible 🤣 Then I moved on to color... although only a little, because there was something that didn't convince me about the drawing... it needed something striking... Some color! Josuke's uniform looks charming from the front... but from the back, it's simple... so I thought this time, I'd make some interesting designs, based on his presentation in the manga.

My need for accessories satisfied, I was able to continue painting the drawing. Josuke's uniform is a dark shade. You could say black or maybe navy blue. But it's usually depicted in more blue and purple tones, which makes it more striking. I tried to mix both colors to create a sort of distinction between light and shadow. When I finished it, I added my signature, as it should be ✨

I must confess I'm very satisfied with the result. My traditional drawing practice is very limited, especially when it comes to color, so every step I took was a lot of fun. Not to mention @tegoshei was my motivation to finish it, and compared to how long it takes me to draw, it was a real feat to have it done in a couple of days, haha ​​🤣

By the way, my friend already uploaded Senku's making process, so check out her beautiful work 😉 On the other hand, I also decided to include her as the beneficiary of 50% of this post, just like she did in her own post. ¡Hola a todos los integrantes de ésta comunidad y amantes del anime! Desde hace un tiempo @tegoshei y yo hemos estado hablando por aquí en la plataforma y luego de ver sus hermosos dibujos, surgió la idea de hacer una colaboración. Al igual que ella, nunca había hecho un dibujo en colaboración con otra persona, pero era un deseo que tenía desde hacía muchos años, así que cuando mi amiga se mostró encantada con la idea, supe que era nuestro momento de brillar 😎✨

Primero que nada, estaba el reto de que, al ser ambas de distintos países (Filipinas y Venezuela), hacer un dibujo juntas al estilo tradicional, podría no ser posible. Pero la idea de dibujar cada una su parte y luego juntarlas, apareció de golpe ¡Genial, como un rompecabezas! Así, la emoción por empezar cuanto antes iba en aumento 😌 @tegoshei me mostró una imagen de Haikyuu que podíamos usar de referencia. La pose demostraba poder y determinación, así que era perfecta para nosotras 💪

A la hora de escoger nuestro personaje, mi amiga escogió a Senku del anime Dr. Stone. Confieso que aún no he visto al anime, pero si sabía quién era el personaje. Por mi lado, estuve un rato deliberando a quién escoger, dado que ando algo viciosa con caricaturas... hasta que salió mi adición por Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, la cual está en pleno auge luego de la noticia de la confirmación del anime de la parte 7 "Steel Ball Run" ¡No puedo esperar! 😍 En fin, me encantan muchos personajes, pero mi Jojo favorito, sin duda es Josuke Higashitaka, me encanta su personalidad 😇

A la hora de dibujar, no sabía cómo comenzaría jaja luego de decidir el tamaño de la hoja, estaba el reto de cuadrar el dibujo. Me ocurre mucho que en ocasiones, suelo abarcar más espacio del que necesito a la hora de hacer bocetos. Cuando esto sucede en bocetos que luego llevaré a digital, no me preocupo, así que a veces le anexo un trozo de hoja con algo de adhesivo si el dibujo se excede 😆 Pero en éste caso, no podía tomar esa decisión tan abrupta. Aunque por suerte, todo salió bien y pude dibujar a Josuke en la hoja (Suspiro de alivio). No soy buena en anatomía y el peinado del personaje me preocupaba, pero decidí no pensar mucho en ello 😅

Para delinearlo, utilicé un marcador punta fina de color negro. Casualmente había comprado uno hace poco porque el que tenía, se había secado 😆 aunque el marcador punta gruesa para las líneas superior e inferior, me dejó en claro que necesito hallarle un sustituto cuanto antes 🤣 Luego pasé al color... aunque sólo un poco, porque había algo que no me convencía del dibujo... le hacía falta algo llamativo... ¡Algo de color! El uniforme de Josuke se ve encantador enfrente... pero en su parte trasera, es simple... así que se me ocurrió por esta vez, hacerle unos diseños interesantes, basados en su presentación en el manga.

Satisfecha mi necesidad de accesorios, pude continuar pintando el dibujo. El uniforme de Josuke es de una tonalidad oscura. Podría decirse que de un negro o quizás un azul marino. Pero se suele representar con tonos más azulados y púrpuras, lo cual le da más vistosidad. Traté de mezclar ambos colores para que hacer una especie de distinción entre luz y sombra. Al finalizarlo, le coloqué mi firma, como debe ser ✨

Debo confesar que estoy muy satisfecha con el resultado. Mis practicas de dibujo tradicional son muy escasas y más las que conllevan color, así que fue muy divertido cada avance que hacía, sin mencionar que @tegoshei fue mi motivación en terminarlo y comparado con lo que tardo haciendo un dibujo, fue una verdadera proeza tenerlo listo en un par de días jaja 🤣

Por cierto, mi amiga ya subió el proceso de elaboración de Senku, así que échenle un vistazo a su hermoso trabajo 😉 por otro lado, también decidí colocarla como beneficiaría del 50% de ésta publicación, así como ella hizo en su post ¡Gracias por ello, querida @tegoshei!
