Domain Expansion ... Let's goooo....
Hi there, today I present my fanart drawings (yeaaah, plural) of one of my absolute favorite characters: Satoru Gojo. One of the main characters from the anime Jujutsu Kaisen. I drew the last fanart of Gojo a very long time ago. But since I've improved a bit in drawing, I thought I could create a hopefully much better fanart now. My thought-fart (I call it like that in german, lol) was to be creative and experimental and I dared to be creative and experimental with a little beginner animation st least. However, I needed a few more drawings than just one and so I ended up with 5.
As they are all related to the small animation project, I am presenting them all here.
But who was Gojo again and what kind of anime is that?
Jujutsu Kaisen is an anime. Simply explained. It was released for the very first time in 2018 and the last episode so far was on September 30, 2024. unfortunately. I'm still hoping for a sequel, because I didn't like the ending when Gojo was locked up... But first to the beginning.
The series is about demons, as is often the case with Demon Slayer, but in a different way. The fighting techniques are different and of course the drawing style is slightly different. There's also a demon king, but he wasn't human before, as far as I know. He's always been a demon. But he does look a bit like one of the Upper Ranks.
Gojo comes from a family that is damn badass and has the very best reputation among all fighters and hunters.
Of course, his background story is also sad and shows that friendship means everything to him and also that this will be his Achilles heel in the end... But I won't spoil anything. Don't worry, if you haven't watched this show, you can read on with peace of mind.
So, without further ado, the boring key facts about Gojo:
He was born on 7. December 1989 as a member of the Gojo clan. He is the first person in his family in 400 years to have both the 6 eyes and the boundless technique. So, he can manipulate time and space. It's pretty cool. I'd like to be able to do that too. He's often portrayed as a rogue, a gobshite and somewhat aloofly arrogant, but he's likeable. Above all, you can understand him if you know his story.
Although he works as a teacher at the so-called Jujutsu High School and trains the young students, he belongs to a "special class" because of his abilities and the school's actual task... to kill demons. To kill demons. These like to attach themselves to people and suck energy from them or take possession of them or kill them outright...
The chosen students can also see these demons thanks to their special gift. Each of the demon hunters also has their very own technique, which has been wonderfully adapted to the individual character.
The plot is basically quite simple. The Demon King was defeated many centuries ago, dismembered and his parts were bound and tied to objects so that he cannot fully use his power and cause any more damage on earth. But a few demons, working together on behalf of another demon, are trying to put the pieces back together.
Oh yes, the pieces are mainly his fingers. As these are important for releasing power.
The Jujutsu Kaisens protect the demon items and the demons naturally try to get hold of them and find missing ones. A game of cat and mouse, if you like.
There are a few other important main characters that I won't mention here. Maybe I'll paint them sometime, then I can still tell you about them.
In any case, Gojo is the Kaisen with the most extraordinary strength, has the funniest sayings and is actually nice and not arrogant. He just knows what he can do and some people see that as conceited, but it serves him as a facade and mask.
I also highly recommend this anime. Besides Demon Slayer, Paprika, Akira and all Ghibli Studio movies, it's one of my favorite series.

Domain Expansion ... Los geht's
Hallöchen, heute präsentiere ich meine Fanart Zeichnungen (jaaaa, Plural) von einem meiner absoluten Lieblingscharaktere: Satoru Gojo. Einer der Hauptfiguren vom Anime Jujutsu Kaisen. Ich hatte vor sehr langer Zeit die letzte Fanart von Gojo gezeichnet. Da ich mich aber doch schon etwas verbessert habe im zeichnen, dachte ich mir, ich könnte doch jetzt mal eine hoffentlich viel bessere Fanart erschaffen. Mein Gedankenpups ist dann ausgeartet und ich hatte mich kreativ und experimentell an eine kleine Anfänger Animation gewagt. Dazu brauchte ich allerdings ein paar mehr Zeichnungen wie nur eine und somit sind es am Ende 5 geworden.
Da diese für das kleine Animationsprojekt Zusammenhängen, präsentiere ich alle hier.
Aber wer war nochmal Gojo und was für ein Anime ist das?
Jujutsu Kaisen ist ein Anime. Ganz einfach gesagt. Es wurde das allererste mal 2018 veröffentlicht und die bislang letzte Folge war am 30. September 2024. Leider. Ich hoffe ja immernoch auf eine Fortsetzung, da mir das Ende nicht gefiel, da man Gojo eingesperrt hatte... Aber erstmal zum Anfang.
In der Serie geht es wie oft um Dämonen, ja wie auch bei Demon Slayer, aber anders. Die Kampftechniken sind andere und natürlich ist der Zeichenstil etwas anders. Es gibt auch einen Dämonenkönig, doch der war kein Mensch vorher, soweit ich weiss. Der war schon immer ein Dämon. Aber etwas ähnlich zu einem der Upper Ranks schaut er schon aus.
Gojo stammt aus einer Familie, welche mega krass ist und den allerbesten Ruf hat unter den Jägern hat.
Klar, seine Hintergrundgeschichte ist auch traurig und zeigt, dass ihm Freundschaft alles bedeutet und auch, dass diese seine Achilles Ferse am Ende sein wird... Aber ich spoiler nichts. Keine Sorge, alle die diese Sendung nicht geschaut haben, ihr könnt beruhigt weiterlesen.
Also, kurz die langweiligen Eckdaten zu Gojo:
Er ist am 7. Dezember 1989 als ein Mitglied des Gojo Clans. Er ist die erste Person in seiner Familie seit 400 Jahren, welche sowohl die 6 Augen hat, als auch die Technik der Grenzenlosigkeit. Also, er kann so bisschen Zeit und Raum manipulieren. Ist schon cool. Würde ich auch gerne können. Er wird oft als Schelm, Quatschkopf und etwas distanziert arrogant dargestellt, ist aber sympathisch. Vorallem kann man ihn verstehen, wenn man seine Geschichte etwas kennt.
Obwohl er an der sogenannten Jujutsu High School als Lehrer arbeitet umd die jungen Studenten ausbildet, gehört er zu einer "Sonderklasse", wegen seinen Fähigkeiten und der eigentlichen Aufgabe der Schule... Dämonen zu töten. Diese heften sich gerne an Menschen und saugen ihnen Energie ab oder nehmen sie in Besitz oder töten sie gleich...
Die auserwählten Studenten können auch, dank ihrer besonderen Gabe, diese Dämonen sehen. Jeder der Dämonenjäger hat auch eine ganz eigene Technik, welche wunderbar an den individuellen Charakter angepasst wurde.
Die Handlung ist im Grunde recht einfach. Der Dämonenkönig wurde vor vielen Jahrhunderten besiegt, zerteilt und seine Teile wurden an Gegenstände gefesselt und gebunden, sodass er seine Macht nicht vollständig nutzen kann und keinen Schaden mehr auf Erden anrichten kann. Doch so ein paar Dämonen, welche im Auftrag eines anderen Dämonen zusammenarbeiten, versuchen die Teile zusammenzufügen.
Ach ja, die Teile sind hauptsächlich seine Finger. Da diese zum Kraftfreisetzen wichtig sind.
Die Jujutsu Kaisens beschützen die Dämonengegenstände und die Dämonen versuchen natürlich an diese zu kommen und fehlende zu finden. Ein Katz und Maus Spiel, wenn man so will.
Es gibt noch ein paar andere wichtige Hauptcharaktere, welche ich an dieser Stelle nicht nenne. Vielleicht male ich die ja mal, dann kann ich immernoch von diesen erzählen.
Gojo ist jedenfalls der Kaisen, mit der außergewöhnlichsten Kraft, hat die lustigsten Sprüche und ist an sich nett und nicht arrogant. Er weiß halt was er kann und das kommt bei manchen als eingebildet rüber, doch das dient ihm als Fassade und Maske.
Ich empfehle diesen Anime auch sehr. Neben Demon Slayer, Paprika, Akira und allen Ghibli Studio Filmen ist es eine meiner liebsten Serien.
