I used to write BL fanfictions when I was much younger (say... more than 10 years ago)... though the characters I used were J-pop idol group members as the stories I made were mostly requests from fellow fangirls. Those were fun old days!
Now, I got another chance to create one. Well, this is just a plot for Wild Plot Wednesdays 15... anyway, it's basically the introduction of the story, so I'd leave the rest to your imagination.
GETTING OVER
Kagami Taiga just arrived in the US after the ultimate match between America's Jabberwock and Japan's Vorpal Swords. It was his last game with the people he met and held a special place in his heart... especially, Aomine.

Unbeknownst to all their friends, he and Aomine had been secretly and romantically involved. Well, at least that's what Kagami thought... Aomine was mostly curious and enjoyed the physical relationship they had, so he didn't really care much when Kagami left. (Or who knows?)
On the other hand, Kagami took everything seriously and got his poor heart one-sidedly broken. So yeah, he left for the US not only for the opportunity to improve his basketball, but also to mend his broken heart and get over it.
When he arrived at the airport, Alex (his teacher) wasn't alone. A tall, good-looking black-haired guy who was so aloof was beside her. "Kagami, meet Rukawa... Rukawa, Kagami... from now on, you're roommates.", introduced Alex.
Kagami is to train with Rukawa for the next couple of years. The latter is a well-known player in Kanagawa prefecture that even players in Tokyo like Kagami have heard of. They were oddly compatible in court, but were quite awkward outside of it. However, one incident changed their relationship.
One day on their day off from training, Kagami accidentally saw a notification on Rukawa's phone that was openly lying on the desk.
"I'm sorry for ending it this way... I think long distance just doesn't work for the both of us."
It was a break-up message... which was normal, but it was the sender that shocked Kagami. It was from Sendoh.

Rukawa caught Kagami checking his phone and was initially angry, but later on opened up to him. Kagami who was able to relate to the situation, honestly told Rukawa his story as well. They ended up comforting each other... in a more emotional way than expected.
Will this change be for the better? Or would this something that's budding between them affect their game? Watch this special crossover to know more!

I'm personally a fan of KagaMine and SenKawa pairings, so I made a twist and made a crossover. I hope I made you curious in some way... lol
