I usually spend my day reading a few chapters of Manhua/Manga daily. Some of them are checked religiously, but some are dropped due to various reasons. If we already exchanged chats, you will know how I love the Isekai genre, and more often than not these are the ones that I am into. But aside from that, I have some series that aren't in that field that I am reading as well.
Now going back to the topic, I have some of the series that I got invested in before but for some reason, I dropped either nearing the climax or ending.
Too many readers discussing the series already.

One Piece is one of the mainstays on my reading list before and I have a schedule marked in my calendar every Sunday morning that I will be reading it. I got so soaked into the series that I bought some of the pirated merchandise from Comic Alley. Since it become popular and right now still it is widely read by some people I decided not to read it anymore. Perhaps it is the pride of a weeb in me that doesn't want to be beaten in the series that I read that I am not sure about. Also, each time that someone will be looking for a suggestion for manga to read it is the one that pops out from different people saying
One piece is the best shounen! You should read it
You are not reading One Piece? Whhyyyy it is so amazing!
I think I stopped reading it on the Punk Hazard arc, this is also the time wherein it is being shown on the local television. Aside from One Piece, I also dropped Naruto, due to the same reason given. I really find it awkward that some new folks keep on pushing me to read it as if it was the best series ever written. Bleach on the other hand I was able to finish after everything subsides around 4 years ago I guess I had completed it.
Page sequences are messed up.

April fools day episodes are exempt on this as the majority of the scanlation group are doing it on purpose but some are still not doing and arranging the series in the right order.
There are times that the pattern would start from the bottom page to the top, but there are some too that you will see the correct page on the 3rd panel and all. It is truly a painful experience. One of the series that I dropped is this, The Strongest Florist, I had loved reading it at some point but since the chapters were a complete mess around the middle I dropped it as I cannot find the cohesiveness of the whole chapter in one go. I also dropped Tenkuu Shippan, Tales of Demons and Gods, and Survival Story Of A Sword King In A Fantasy World
Too Slow Updates / No Updates At All.
We can all agree that Hunter x Hunter is one of the series that will come into your mind when it comes to slow updates. But aside from that one of the series that I dropped was One Punch Man.

I dropped this series 3 or 4 years ago but when I went to our office last May, I was able to catch up on this series in one sit as travel time to office was quite long.
I think these are the non-negotiables to the series that I had read, I also stopped reading some NSFW series except Deadtube which I think I will still complete because I got sooo hooked with the twisted characters especially Machiya-kun.
So how about you what are the reasons why you are dropping series?
