So this is the second day of the challenge posted by @kuronokenshi and today I'll be discussing about the first anime I watched in it's entirety.

Dragon Ball Z

So let's be honest here, I don't believe anybody in this community has not seen Dragon Ball Z or read the manga in their live. Everyone knows Dragon Ball Z and Goku most of all.

So this anime picks after a brief time skip after the events of Dragon Ball and now our hero Son Goku is married and has a child Gohan. He meets up with
with his old master and friends when, out of nowhere comes Raditz, who tells Goku that he is his elder brother and that they are an alien specie known as Saiyan before kidnapping Gohan. Goku teams up with old rival Piccolo to fight his brother and get his son back.

They fight and Goku sacrifices himself to kill Raditz and in the dying moment Raditz warns of two more Saiyans heading towards Earth. As the Z warriors train to face the threats Goku visits King Kai, the watcher of the east Universe who gives him training, which comes in use to defeat the saiyans Nappa and Vegeta.

Then we get to meet on Emperor Frieza in Planet Namek who is in search of their Dragon balls to wish Immortality and this arc we the best transformation to be there in the entire anime world - Super Saiyan!!

Goku eventually defeats the tyrant Frieza although he's presumed dead with the destruction of planet Namek. It is later found he's not dead and that he's on his way home.

Trunks a Z fighter from the future comes to warn Goku and friends about the Androids for which they train and fight while Goku gets a Heart virus and almost dies, then there is Cell, the ultimate android, who threatens all life in the universe who is eventually defeated be Gohan.

We end with the Buu arc where Goku comes back from the dead, he and his friends fights some crazy strong villains, gets insane power boosts and eventually beat the plague known as Kid Buu.

Although, Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball franchise, comes up with the next series - Dragon Ball Super(which is still going), let's talk about that some other time.

Now I know some of the people in anime community consider Dragon Ball Z as overrated but to be frank I love this anime and you know a character and his anime is OP and had something different about it, when every other anime and it's anime characters get compared to it. So let's just appreciate this everlasting anime and thank it's creators for inspiring many more to make anime and manga.
