ORANGE
The story begins with Naho Takamiya, starting her first day of high school which is off was an uneasy start. One day in a morning she wakes up late and she found a letter addressed to her which was very strange for her. Later on it's revealed that the letter is from herself-10 years later in the future. At the beginning, Naho is not easily convinced about the note as she thought it was a prank by someone, after a while she witnesses many different events which has really taken place as it was already written in the letter, then she believes that the letter really is from her future self. In the note it was described that how Naho in the future has many regrets, and she was hoping if her younger self could correct the mistakes that she made in the past. In the letter we also see that Naho is warning herself about to keep her eyes on the new transfer student who name is Kakeru Naruse. The letter also included that Naho must be thoughtful specially while making decisions which involves Kakeru, because Kakeru was not around in the future. So, now Naho with the guidance of the letter, has the ability to protect Kakeru this time so she doesn't have anything to feel regret about in the future.
There are so many questions why Naho has to protect Kakeru? and how can she do something differently at this age? Also what happens with Kakeru in the future? To clear out your curiosity you must watch this wonderful anime. This anime has soo many beautiful scenes that will make you tearful. No matter how many times I've watched this anime I would often cry and the feeling is amazing, I can't describe it in words.
Orange is a very powerful piece of work. I found myself tearful and shocked Because we don't often see Mangas and Animes that is related to mental health, but Orange is one exceptional anime. I will not spoil much about it, but before watching this anime, you should know that this anime could be trigger you as it has sensitive topics such as Guilt and self harming. This is the one and only anime which is testimony to the fact that you don't need many seasons to make audience feel attached but an amazing storyline will forever be in the hearts of the viewers. I have watched over 300 animes and Orange always stays in my top 10 list because of it's rawness and the boldness to address a sensitive topic which is very much ignored in our society.
The anime is totally a wholesome, fascinating, too much emotional and showcase's the reality. This anime falls into the category of drama, romance and Shojo. I would say it is the best Shojo of the modern day. This anime was released in 2016, it is written in a very good way, also has the ability to make audience feel the most natural feeling and there is no forced romance. I definitely would reccomend it 100%, if anyone even slightly has the desire to try it once then please do so because it's one of the best you will ever see.
Here is a glimpse of the trailer, you would feel nostalgic with the music. This anime is very underated so, I still want to make it stand out for that reason I'm sharing this wonderful anime with you all.
