Milotic es un Pokémon acuático que habita el fondo de los lagos. Por esto, su aspecto imita al de una serpiente marina, con una similitud al monstruo marino Ogopogo, cuyo lugar de origen es el lago Okanagan, en Canadá. Al ser una criatura acuática, su apariencia es similar a la de criaturas marinas, como el pez remo, y el notorio parecido con una sirena.

Milotic is an aquatic Pokémon that lives at the bottom of lakes. Because of this, its appearance mimics that of a sea serpent, with a similarity to the Ogopogo sea monster, whose place of origin is Lake Okanagan, in Canada. Being an aquatic creature, its appearance is similar to that of sea creatures, such as the oarfish, and the notorious resemblance to a mermaid.

La cola de Milotic está cubierta de escamas que absorben y reflejan la luz, haciéndola brillar y lucir como si contuviera todos los colores del arcoíris. Su apariencia es grácil, y recuerda a la cola de un dragón; según el ángulo de visión, gracias a un efecto de la luz, el color puede cambiar.

Milotic's tail is covered with scales that absorb and reflect light, making it glow and look as if it contains all the colors of the rainbow. Its appearance is graceful, and reminiscent of a dragon's tail; depending on the angle of vision, thanks to an effect of light, the color can change.

Con su poder, su cuerpo tiene la capacidad de brillar en una tonalidad rosa, y así libera una onda de energía que calma a las almas sin descanso. Con poderes extrasensoriales, Milotic es capaz de comprender y percibir los sentimientos humanos, siendo capaz de empatizar, y es por esto que los apacigua con su energía, usando su melódico y celestial canto. Esta característica que la asemeja a una sirena la usa más para el bien que para atrapar presas, calmando miedos e irá, trayendo calma a aquellos de corazón tocado por la amargura.
