Hello everyone! 🌸💌 I send you an amazing greeting to this amazing community that is #AlienArtHive, within this wonderful community at large that is #Hive ♡ It's been quite some time since I posted something by this community, so I'm really, really glad to be back with a new work! The truth is that I've been focusing mostly on Fanarts, which I don't upload over here, so today I come with a nice illustration which is the most recent one I've done. I really loved working on it, and I fell in love with the result, so if you'd like to see briefly the whole process, I'd love for you to stay until the end! 🧁
¡¡¡Hola a todos!!! 🌸💌 Les mando un increíble saludo a esta increíble comunidad que es #AlienArtHive, dentro de esta maravillosa comunidad en general que es #Hive ♡ Hacía bastante tiempo que no posteaba algo por esta comunidad, así que estoy muy, muy contenta de estar de vuelta con un nuevo trabajo. La verdad es que he estado centrada sobre todo en Fanarts, que no subo por aquí, así que hoy vengo con una bonita ilustración que es la más reciente que he hecho. La verdad es que me encantó trabajar en ella, y me enamoré del resultado, así que si queréis ver brevemente todo el proceso, ¡me encantaría que os quedarais hasta el final! 🧁
I didn't do this illustration for any specific reason, I just had an idea in my head and I wanted to capture it. The only reason I could mention, is that lately I've been quite thoughtful about my own style, it's something I always want to improve, and I'm not always happy with my drawings, so I made this illustration to practice a little bit the drawing style, coloring and other details, since I feel that with my own characters taken from my head I can see a little better how my style is, although, there are still many things I would like to change 💌.
I leave over here the reference image I used for this cute drawing (which I got from pinterest) and the color palette I wanted to use for the coloring, I really wanted it to be this one, and I loved it! 💗🎨🍭
No hice esta ilustración por ninguna razón en concreto, simplemente tenía una idea en la cabeza y quería plasmarla. La única razón que podría mencionar, es que últimamente he estado bastante pensativa sobre mi propio estilo, es algo que siempre quiero mejorar, y no siempre estoy contenta con mis dibujos, así que hice esta ilustración para practicar un poco el estilo de dibujo, coloreado y demás detalles, ya que siento que con mis propios personajes sacados de mi cabeza puedo ver un poco mejor cómo es mi estilo, aunque, aún hay muchas cosas que me gustaría cambiar 💌.
Dejo por aquí la imagen de referencia que usé para este lindo dibujo (que saqué de pinterest) y la paleta de colores que quería usar para el coloreado, realmente quería que fuera esta, ¡y me encantó! 💗🎨🍭
Let's get started! ♡ As I always like to mention, the program I use for all my drawings is Clip Studio Paint, which I highly recommend, and my equipment is a graphics tablet, a Gaomon S620! 💌 I already had the idea in my head, I wanted to draw a girl with cupcake frosting on her head, why...I don't know, it just came. I started first making the sketch, I was feeling very colorful and cheerful, so this time I used pink and purple colors for the sketch, when I usually use reds haha ⋆.ೃ࿔🌸*:･
¡Vamos a empezar! ♡ Como siempre me gusta mencionar, el programa que uso para todos mis dibujos es Clip Studio Paint, el cual recomiendo ampliamente, y mi equipo es una tableta gráfica, ¡una Gaomon S620! 💌 Ya tenía la idea en la cabeza, quería dibujar a una chica con glaseado de cupcake en la cabeza, por qué... no lo sé, simplemente surgió. Empecé primero haciendo el boceto, me sentía muy colorida y alegre, así que esta vez usé colores rosas y morados para el boceto, cuando normalmente uso rojos jaja ⋆.ೃ࿔🌸*:･
Once I was satisfied with the sketch (which I did briefly) I moved on to Lineart! ♡ I do this on a separate layer on top of the sketch layer, which I lower the opacity so it doesn't interfere. Here I added all the elements of the girl, for the hair I was inspired by the reference, as well as the clothes. Really my favorite part was the eyes, I feel that although I don't draw women very often (I spend all my time drawing men 😔) the eyes or the expression in general of the girls are so beautiful! I feel like it's because I love to detail them a lot more, like in eyelashes and those details. With this I already had the Lineart finished! 🎀🧸⋆˙⟡♡
¡Una vez satisfecho con el boceto (que hice brevemente) pasé a Lineart! ♡ Esto lo hago en una capa aparte encima de la capa del boceto, a la que le bajo la opacidad para que no interfiera. Aquí añadí todos los elementos de la chica, para el pelo me inspiré en la referencia, así como la ropa. Realmente mi parte favorita fueron los ojos, siento que aunque no dibujo mujeres muy seguido (me la paso dibujando hombres 😔) los ojos o la expresión en general de las chicas ¡son tan bonitas! Siento que es porque me encanta detallarlas mucho más, como en pestañas y esos detalles. ¡Con esto ya tenía el Lineart terminado! 🎀🧸⋆˙⟡♡
Once I was satisfied with the Lineart, I proceeded to add the base colors! ♡ For the base colors, I first paint the entire drawing in a single color, in this case I used a kind of grayish lilac, I do this so that the colors I add later do not go beyond what I already painted and I do not have to clean it up later (this is possible thanks to the wonderful "Lock transparent pixels" tool ⭐) Then I added the base colors, based on the palette I had before, I already had in mind where I was going to place each one, so it was quick ˚˖𓍢🌷͙֒✧˚.🎀༘⋆
Una vez que estuve conforme con el Lineart, procedí a agregar los colores base! ♡ Para los colores base, primero pinto todo el dibujo de un solo color, en este caso usé una especie de lila grisáceo, esto lo hago para que los colores que agregue después no pasen de lo que ya pinté y no tenga que limpiarlo después (esto es posible gracias a la maravillosa herramienta "Bloquear píxeles transparentes" ⭐) Luego agregué los colores base, basándome en la paleta que tenía antes, ya tenía en mente donde iba a colocar cada uno, así que fue rápido ˚˖𓍢🌷͙֒✧˚.🎀༘⋆
Once the base colors were added, I moved on to my favorite part, rendering! ♡ For rendering, I ALWAYS start with the skin first. I add the base colors on separate layers for skin, hair, and clothes, so for rendering, I start with the skin first, to be more orderly. I feel like I'll never be able to paint on just one layer, although I might try. First, I started by adding blush to the cheeks and nose (I love this step), added shadows, colored the eyes and lips, and also added subtle touches of blue in certain areas to be true to the palette. I really loved how the face turned out this time 🪞𓍢🌷͙֒♡
Una vez añadidos los colores base, pasé a mi parte favorita: ¡renderizar! ♡ Para renderizar, SIEMPRE empiezo por la piel. Agrego los colores base en capas separadas para la piel, el cabello y la ropa, así que para renderizar, empiezo primero por la piel para ser más ordenada. Siento que nunca podré pintar en una sola capa, aunque podría intentarlo. Primero, comencé aplicando rubor en las mejillas y la nariz (me encanta este paso), añadí sombras, coloreé los ojos y los labios, y también añadí sutiles toques de azul en ciertas áreas para ser fiel a la paleta. Me encantó cómo quedó la cara esta vez 🪞𓍢🌷͙֒♡
Then, my favorite part of the rendering, the hair! ♡ For this I always start by adding small spots of the same color range in some areas of the hair, spots that I blur to give a little more texture, although it is rarely noticeable. Then I add strong shadows and then something that I love is to make those prominent spots in some areas with a lighter color, I really like how liberal it is and it gives a lot of feeling of light to the hair! ˚˖𓍢🌷͙֒✧˚.🎀༘⋆
Y ahora, mi parte favorita del render: ¡el pelo! ♡ Para esto, siempre empiezo añadiendo pequeñas manchas de la misma gama de colores en algunas zonas del pelo, manchas que difumino para darle un poco más de textura, aunque rara vez se nota. Después, añado sombras fuertes y, algo que me encanta, es crear esas manchas prominentes en algunas zonas con un color más claro. ¡Me gusta mucho lo liberal que es y le da mucha sensación de luminosidad al pelo! ˚˖𓍢🌷͙֒✧˚.🎀༘⋆
Next, I proceeded to render the clothes and the cupcake on her head! 🧁♡ First, for the clothes, I added very subtle shadows in the areas I thought were appropriate, and then I added the strong shadows. I was really in love with the color palette I was using the whole time. I also added small patches of blue in some areas. I feel like I still have a lot to learn when it comes to coloring clothes, so I'll keep practicing! ˚₊‧꒰ა 🎀 ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
I also colored the frosting on the cupcake in the head, adding light shadows first and then adding sprinkles and decorations. I really liked this part too 🍧🌸💕
Después, procedí a renderizar la ropa y el cupcake en su cabeza. 🧁♡ Primero, para la ropa, agregué sombras muy sutiles en las áreas que consideré apropiadas y luego agregué sombras fuertes. Me encantó la paleta de colores que usé todo el tiempo. También agregué pequeñas manchas de azul en algunas áreas.
