Spiral

Buenas noches amigos. Hoy me siento un poco enferma pero aun asi quería terminar este dibujo que comencé hace unas noches atrás. Esta vez quise probar hacer una especie de marca en forma de espiral en el rostro, me pareció interesante y se ve bastante genial, al principio quería hacer solo las marcas de espiral en tonos marrones, pero luego se me ocurrió añadirle un poco de luz en los bordes y asi darle un efecto mas realista, como si la piel estuviera a punto de caer en forma de espiral. Espero que les guste.

I'm feeling a little under the weather today, but I still wanted to finish this drawing I started a few nights ago. This time, I wanted to try making a kind of spiral mark on the face. I thought it was interesting and it looks pretty cool. At first, I wanted to make the spiral marks in brown tones, but then I thought of adding a little light to the edges to give it a more realistic effect, as if the skin were about to fall off in a spiral shape. I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto y empecé a pintar la piel utilizando tonalidades lilas, marrones, morado y azul, en una nueva capa agregue mas colores para darle mejor forma al rostro y manos, luego empecé a mezclar los colores para dejar un resultado mas realista y con textura suave, las manos fueron algo complicadas como siempre.

I made the sketch and began painting the skin using shades of lilac, brown, purple, and blue. On a new layer, I added more colors to better shape the face and hands, then I began mixing the colors to achieve a more realistic result with a smooth texture. The hands were somewhat complicated, as always.

Pinte el cabello de un color muy oscuro y le agregue pequeños reflejos con morado, pinte las cejas, pestañas y las uñas para luego empezar a dibujar el espiral comenzando desde la nariz, en otra capa intensifique un poco mas el tono marrón del espiral y que se pudiese notar mejor, luego cambie el fondo a un tono claro y esta vez elegí un color rosa casi blanco, empecé a crear una nueva capa donde colocaría las iluminaciones y en este momento se me ocurrió resaltar aún más las líneas del espiral dándole un poco de brillo y creando asi ese efecto de volumen, tambien ilumine los labios y ojos. Finalice realizando un ajuste de color leve.

I painted the hair a very dark color and added small purple highlights, painted the eyebrows, eyelashes, and nails, and then began to draw the spiral starting from the nose. In another layer, I intensified the brown tone of the spiral a little more so that it would stand out better. Then I changed the background to a light tone, this time choosing an almost white pink color. I started to create a new layer where I would place the highlights, and at this point I decided to highlight the lines of the spiral even more by adding a little shine and thus creating that volume effect. I also highlighted the lips and eyes. I finished by making a slight color adjustment.
