Splinterlands art contest | Runeseer Sevaya

Muy buenas noches amigos. Hoy les presento mi nueva entrada al concurso de @Splinterlands continuo recreando las nuevas cartas, que les juro que han sido bastante difíciles de hacer, ya que tienen muchísimos detalles y elementos muy llamativos, esta vez elegí a Runeseer Sevaya como sabrán mi estilo favorito de dibujo es retrato, entonces he intentado representar en mis últimos dibujos de splinterlands la esencia de cada carta sin necesidad de hacer un dibujo a cuerpo completo, donde se pueda distinguir a simple vista que personaje es, en esta oportunidad esta carta tiene elementos muy específicos que la hace bastante sencilla de interpretar, me gusto mucho por los colores y el tercer ojo que tiene, decidí representarla en un retrato con toques rústicos usando diferentes brochas testaradas y siendo bastante fiel al dibujo original, quería integrar un color naranja como lo tiene en el fondo esta carta pero sinceramente no me convencía este color con mi dibujo asi que opté por un fondo oscuro algo mas neutro, también quise añadir algo de negro alrededor de los ojos simulando una especie de maquillaje rustico, me divertí mucho haciendo este fan art, espero que les guste.

Today I present my new entry to @Splinterlands contest, I continue recreating the new cards, I swear they have been quite difficult to do, because they have many details and very striking elements, this time I chose Runeseer Sevaya as you know my favorite style of drawing is portrait, then I tried to represent in my last splinterlands drawings the essence of each card without making a full body drawing, where you can distinguish at a glance which character is, this time this card has very specific elements that makes it quite simple to interpret, I liked a lot the colors and the third eye that has, I decided to represent it in a portrait with rustic touches using different brushes and being quite faithful to the original drawing, I wanted to integrate an orange color as it has in the background this card but honestly I was not convinced this color with my drawing so I opted for a dark background something more neutral, I also wanted to add some black around the eyes simulating a kind of rustic makeup, I had fun doing this fan art, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Comencé con mi boceto, intentado hacer todos los accesorios que tiene la carta original, después elegí los colores para empezar a pintar, esta vez elegí una gama de morados, algunos oscuros y otros claros, también utilice rojo para los ojos y la boca, en una nueva capa añadí mas colores para formar el rostro aún mejor, luego empecé a mezclarlos todos para obtener una textura de piel un poco más realista, después de tener todo el rostro listo, comencé a agregar colores base a la ropa.

I started with my sketch, trying to make all the accessories that the original card has, then I chose the colors to start painting, this time I chose a range of purples, some dark and some light, I also used red for the eyes and mouth, in a new layer I added more colors to form the face even better, then i started to mix them all to get a little more realistic skin texture, after having all the face ready, I started to add base colors to the clothes.

Empecé a rellenar toda la ropa con luces y sombras, luego empecé a pintar el cabello con marrón para después añadirle reflejos de luz y algunas sombras que simularan mejor el cabello, ahora rellene el gorro con un azul grisáceo oscuro, después pinte algunas sombras y luces para igualmente darle volumen y un poco mas de realismo.

I started to fill all the clothes with lights and shadows, then I started to paint the hair with brown and then I added some light reflections and some shadows to simulate the hair better, now I filled the cap with a dark grayish blue, then I painted some shadows and lights to give it volume and a little more realism.

Después de rellenar toda la ropa, empecé a pintar los cuernos, de hecho, tuve que cambiar la forma del cuerno izquierdo porque el que hice en el boceto estaba mal proporcionado y tampoco tenia la mejor perspectiva, aunque no quedo perfecto quedo mejor que el del boceto, continue pintando las pestañas y las cejas y luego empecé a utilizar pinceles texturados para darle un acabado mas rustico a todo, añadí negro alrededor de los ojos, dándole asi un aspecto mas malvado jajaja, también pinte algunas luces alrededor como flamas con textura, después añadí una capa de luces donde comencé a agregar iluminaciones en el rostro, ropa y ojos, también quise añadir un poco de color azul en la parte inferior del dibujo, finalice todo editando la imagen dándole mas oscuridad, saturación y contraste.

After filling all the clothes, I started to paint the horns, in fact, I had to change the shape of the left horn because the one I did in the sketch was badly proportioned and it didn't have the best perspective, although it wasn't perfect it was better than the sketch, I continued painting the eyelashes and the eyebrows and then I started to use textured brushes to give a more rustic finish to everything, I added black around the eyes, giving it a more evil look hahaha, I also painted some lights around as textured flames, then I added a layer of lights where I started to add illuminations in the face, clothes and eyes, I also wanted to add some blue color in the bottom of the drawing, I finished everything editing the image giving it more darkness, saturation and contrast.
