Hello my dear all friends. How are you doing today? Did you begin a beautiful day? I hope you had a nice day. I myself am doing great today and had an amazing day that I spent with my best friend. We went to a park because the weather was nice and had so much fan reading books and sharing our thoughts. Quality time really matters to me. Those who follow me on hive in these years know that I like spending time with my friends and family because in the end, we all have each other. These strong bonds help us to go through all the hardships in life. It’s not all about having somebody to rely on the bad days but also celebrating every achievement and steps forward in life is going to be more fun with them. Seeing somebody gets excited for your graduation or promotion at works is very heartwarming. Anyway, Today is the last day of the weekly art contest of splinterlands. And I always spent the last day of the contest going out and hanging with my family or friends so as soon as I arrived home. I grabbed my pencil and tablet to create my fan art to participate in this big contest. I personally enjoy this contest very much because we see beautiful art works of the other amazing artists in Hive community.
I selected the card last week but didn’t have the time to participate sooner because these days I am very busy with my studies. I am very excited to show this fan art to you because I am slowly changing the style of my illustrations. Now I am going to draw the full body. I was afraid to draw the body and my old drawing had one thing in common, it was all about a girl looking at camera and is standing still without any further gestures. If I want to be more fair to myself, I changed a little more recently. And I’m quite happy about it. What do you think?? ?
The card that I inspired from is named Helios matriarch. I have got several reason to like this character. The character look like human but also at some point she is not a human. Her eyes and nose are not like human. She also doesn’t have any hair which makes her look like a semi human magician.
In my illustration, I put my focus and attention on drawing a cool gesture for her because I wanted her to be as powerful as she seems in the card. I love the way that red part of the her clothes were around her body. So I chose a gesture that I could draw it beautiful. she didn’t have hair but because I wanted her to be beautiful I chose a short hair cut and made it black so it could fit with her clothes. After I completed the painting I realized that something was missing in it. And guess what? It was the magic ball. I drew a magic ball in both of her hands and with sparking light that comes out of it.
