"...Out on the far edges of the space, where the boundaries of the pages are a little blurred, you will find them.
Call them what you will. Dragons, demons, whatever. They're all out here, because it has been decreed that they can no longer venture onto the conventional pages of the story. Only the EdenStar, by dint of being the author of this particular story, is able to come and go as it pleases.
Here you will see a raging maelstrom, a furious vortex of energy, chaos and destructive creativity. The beasts out here all wish to return to their home, and there is only one way in: by storming the Gates of Heaven.
The drifting pillars you see here are strong. The infinitesimal speck you see charging at their inner mysteries will not pass through. The Beast- for that is what this region is, does not care. All it knows is to seek the warm and cold light of home. It will wear it's fingers to bone trying to scratch it's way back through. The dragon in this image will be a cinder within seconds of trying, but eventually, the Pillars may falter, and the world will once again be home to dreams and monsters..."
