The Art Style:
Like last weeks "Goblin Mafiaboss" also this character design has no official name yet. But if I had to guess I would say her name is something like
"Assana Cyberblade"
Lets take a look at her design.
She wears a cloak with a large hood that covers her head. A tight corset and all the golden accessories makes her look somehow aristocratic. Her outfit and her weapon overall are looking like a mix of futuristic and ancient styles. I would say our protagonist looks as if she is an futuristic assassin.
I also see a large scar on her left eye that stretches across half her face. She also has some kind of war paint on her face so she's definitely had a few fights.
I am very excited to see more and more of the new Cards in the upcoming weeks.
Now let`s jump to work and do a fanart in my style.
Lets take a look at the Illustration Process:
The first sketch i do is always very rough. It is a guideline for me what shape and proportions my character will have.
In the second step i work on a clean sketch adding all characteristics and accessories. This two steps makes it easy to finish a clean and detailed lineart.
A clean Lineart makes it easy to fill in the color pallet in a new layer.
Now it's time for adding the shadows in a new painting layer. First working on big shapes then working on smaller ones and blend them all together.
At this point i start painting the background as a frame for the character design.
At last step the very important highlights and effects and textures are added and everything is polished with much care about details.
Here is my interpretation of "Assana Cyberblade"
