Hello and Welcome to a new Episode of my Splinterlands Fanart Series.
Today we will take a closer look at "Sea Wreck"
The Card:
This is our newest Airdrop from the Riftwatchers set a legendary water splinter card. With its return fire and magic reflect ability + amplifier which does in addition 1 more damage, it is seriously going to cause great damage.
Not to mention the bloodlust ability, which adds +1 to his attack for every card he killed. This card is a beast and absolutely meta in reverse speed rule set!
Unfortunately, I bought most of my packs through HiveEngine and the 50 packs i bought from the shop weren't enough for AirDrop.
The Lore:
""Born from the seabed and woven together with rocks and shells, sea wrecks are one of the most powerful golems found in the Splinterlands. They were first seen shortly after the Chaos Legion’s invasion. However, they are extremely rare, as the skill and power required to summon them is great indeed...”"

The Art Style:
I love the creative energy and the idea behind this card. It is a very detailed artwork in the new Riftwatchers style.
When I saw this card for the first time it was immediately clear to me that I had to feature it in my Fanart Series!
...Now let`s jump to work!
My goal for this Fanart was to stay close to the original and incorporate the armor and character details into my style.
Here is my interpretation of the "Sea Wreck"

I recently started uploading videos on YouTube. If you like it, I would greatly appreciate any kind of feedback over there 🙏
Lets take a look at the Illustration Process:
The first sketch i do is always very rough. It is only a guideline for me what shape and proportions my illustration will have.
In the second step i work on a clean sketch with some more details. This two steps makes it easy to finish a clean and detailed lineart.
Now it's time for adding the shadows in a new painting layer. First working on big shapes then working on smaller ones and blend them all together.
Now its time to add the colour pallet in another layer. At last step the very important highlights and effects are added and everything is polished with much care about details.
•All painting work was done on Ipad with Procreate.
•Video editing done with Luma Fusion
Until next time!
