hello Alien Art Hive community! Like so many of you, I add a little creativity to everything I do. Even the most tedious of tasks are made fun by stickers and paint. Planning fun interspersed throughout my work week was the main draw of starting a bullet journal and I wanted to share inspiration from my planner for my first post in this community.
The adventure begins by selecting a subject for the journal and decorating the cover accordingly. Each of my booklets has a different subject and use. I keep a tiny notebook in my purse for jotting down spontaneous ideas and another is destined to record to do lists and life goals. The main journal featured in this post is the one in which I keep track of my artistic and creative endeavors.
In order to create a bullet journal you do not need much more then pen and paper. A truly inspiring journal is formed with layers of materials and crafted over time.
Scraps upcycled from other projects, words from newspapers and postcards collected along the way...
Pens, paper, magazine clippings and stickers are all welcome in a creative bullet journal.
These books are filled with dreams as well as concrete plans. Steps that I need to take in order to see my visions to reality are worked out here.
And alongside to do lists are words of inspiration. Originally printed in an essay on writing, these scraps have become a poem about an artist and the creative process. Now they are memorialized here for my eyes to see over and over again. I share this collage-poem and the pages from this special book to hopefully inspire too.
Happy Crafting!
