Angel of Light💫Splinterlands Art Contest SPT

Para iniciar, realice un boceto guía de base para recrear la forma del personaje, no estaba tan segura de cómo sería el fondo así que pensé en ese momento en un arcoiris sobre el ángel. Utilice un Pincel Grafito para los trazos. Ya para el delineado en limpio utilice un Pincel Rotulador Suave para hacer los trazos de la piel y la túnica que quedarán a manera de comic, a su vez para el cabello use un Pincel Plano Lineal y para el trazo de las alas un Pincel Plano Real los cuales dieron volúmen a las alas y al cabello.

To start, I made a base guide sketch to recreate the shape of the character, I wasn't so sure how the background would be so I thought at that moment of a rainbow over the angel. I used a Graphite Brush for the strokes. For the clean outline I used a Soft Marker Brush to make the strokes of the skin and the tunic that will look like a comic book, for the hair I used a Linear Flat Brush and for the wings a Real Flat Brush which gave volume to the wings and the hair.

Para aplicar ya los diferentes matices de colores, agregué los colores base empezando con la piel y la túnica y en otra capa aplique Recorte y agregué un color naranja a los mismos trazos del boceto en limpio para la parte del cabello y de igual forma hice una capa de Recorte para agregar un color base a las alas sobre el mismo boceto en limpio, agregando a su vez capas de multiplicar aplicando el contraste y la profundidad al cabello y a las alas del ángel, y aparte otra capa de añadir para darle tonos más claros y luminosidad a los mismos.

To apply the different shades of colors, I added the base colors starting with the skin and the tunic and in another layer I applied Trim and added an orange color to the same strokes of the clean sketch for the hair part and in the same way I did a layer of Trim to add a base color to the wings on the same clean sketch, adding layers of multiply applying the contrast and depth to the hair and wings of the angel, and apart another layer of add to give lighter tones and luminosity to them.

Por último, como había comentado anteriormente no estaba conforme con el fondo, ya que había realizado en el boceto un fondo de día y su arcoiris, pero era demasiado claro y daba la impresión de mucha luz sin los brillos que necesitaba agregar al final, así que decidí un fondo negro dándole mayor protagonismo al personaje y resaltando la misma característica que su nombre indica cómo un Ángel de Luz, y lo ambiente en un espacio del universo con algunos destellos puntuales de luminosidad. Agregué anteriormente una capa de sombras para darle la profundidad y el contraste a la piel y a la túnica del ángel jugando un poco con la técnica de difuminado en lo que es la vestimenta, la cual me gustó por el resultado que le dio, no haciendo notoria la separación tan sólida de las sombras y luces. Quise hacer lo mismo con la piel pero no quería que perdiera el estilo caricaturesco. Ya para finalizar agregué la capa de luces y reforcé con otra capa de brillos los que ya había añadido para tener una mayor procedencia de la luz inicial, luego abrí otra capa y sature toda la imagen con un color cobrizo brillante muy claro. Finalmente quede satisfecha con este estilo divino que realice para esta bella carta del Angel le Light. Espero lo disfruten tanto como yo! 😊

Finally, as I mentioned before I was not satisfied with the background, since I had made in the sketch a day background and its rainbow, but it was too clear and gave the impression of too much light without the brightness that I needed to add at the end, so I decided a black background giving more prominence to the character and highlighting the same characteristic that its name indicates as an Angel of Light, and the environment in a space of the universe with some punctual flashes of brightness. I previously added a layer of shadows to give depth and contrast to the skin and the angel's tunic playing a little with the blurring technique in what is the clothing, which I liked the result it gave, not making noticeable the solid separation of shadows and lights. I wanted to do the same with the skin but I didn't want it to lose the cartoon style. Finally I added the layer of lights and reinforced with another layer of glows the ones I had already added to have a greater origin of the initial light, then I opened another layer and saturated the whole image with a very clear shiny copper color. Finally I was satisfied with this divine style I made for this beautiful Angel le Light card. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! 😊
