Hello bloggers I hope you are very well, I'm back to come to show you one of my latest designs, this time going into other sides that I do not know very well and so far I had never used in my life, Today I want to show you my first design made in Adobe Illustrator, which as many know is an illustration tool in which you do not work with pixels but with vectors. I'll tell you all about this illustration and the process I went through to make it.

This design is part of the studies I am taking in my graphic design career, and among them I have also learned to illustrate in a different way, in fact, in several different ways already, in this class the challenge was to take the shape of an animal and simplify it, to analyze much more the forms and get to understand in a better way what makes an animal look its image and be recognized.
Este diseño forma parte de los estudios que estoy cursando en mi carrera de diseño grafico, y pues entre ellos también he aprendido a ilustrar de una manera distinta, de hecho, de varias maneras distintas ya, en esta clase el reto era llevar la forma de un animal y simplificarla, para analizar mucho mas las formas y llegar a entender de una mejor manera que hace que un animal luzca su imagen y que sea reconocido.

I chose a very colorful macaw, and I started to make my sketches and my simplification of the animal, choosing not only the most important shapes, but already taking into account how it should look in the Flat Design style, since it is a style that starts with basic geometric shapes, a circle perhaps to make the heads, rectangles with rounded tips to make torsos, and so go thinking with what shapes could be built each animal.
Yo elegí a un guacamayo muy colorido, y empecé a hacer mis bocetos y mi simplificación del animal, eligiendo no solo las formas mas importantes, si no ya teniendo en cuenta como se debía ver en el estilo Flat Design, ya que es un estilo que parte de formas geométricas básicas, un circulo tal vez para hacer las cabezas, rectángulos con puntas redondeadas para hacer torsos, y así ir pensando con que formas podía ser construido cada animal.

As for the color, it was more complicated and I had to look for reference color palettes because my computer is not of very good quality and does not show the real colors that will be appreciated in the final works, and well, in my I Pad I could not do it because of the program and because we were evaluating the skills with a PC mouse.
En cuanto al color se me hizo mas complicado y tuve que buscar paletas de color de referencia porque mi computadora no es de muy buena calidad y no muestra los colores reales que van a apreciarse en los trabajos finales, y pues en mi I Pad no podía hacerlo por el programa y porque nos estaban evaluando las habilidades con un mouse de PC.

I used a very vibrant color palette with complementary colors and I tried to give a little grayish shades also because I really like the texture you feel in the colors, they look much softer and delicate than giving pure saturation shades, or even shades of black that instead already look very dull, I feel that gray has a very interesting balance and gives very good results. Tell me what you thought of this illustration with Flat Design and if you dare to recreate an object or animal using this technique.
Utilicé una paleta de color muy vibrante con colores complementarios y traté de darle unos matices un poco grisáceos también porque me gusta mucho la textura que se siente en los colores, se ven mucho mas suaves y delicados que dándole matices de saturación pura, o incluso matices de negro que en cambio ya se ven muy apagados, siento que el gris tiene un equilibrio bien interesante y que da muy buenos resultados. Cuéntame que te pareció esta ilustración con Flat Design y si te atreves a recrear algún objeto o animal utilizando esta técnica.
