Today I come to share with you one of my last works of children's illustration, the practice does not stop XD, this time I have returned to practice color palettes along with lighting at different times of day. Today I bring you this illustration set in the jungle with Dan's adventures. I tell you how it was done and of course the step by step.
Hola a todos blogueros, espero estén muy bien. El día de hoy les vengo a compartir una de mis ultimas obras de ilustración infantil, la practica no para XD, esta vez he vuelto a practicar paletas de color junto con iluminaciones de distintas horas del día. Hoy les traigo esta ilustración ambientada dentro de la jungla con las aventuras de Dan. Te cuento como fue hacerla y por supuesto el paso a paso.

For the idea and the sketch of this illustration the first thing I had in mind was that it should be a composition where I could use different lighting, so I thought of doing it inside a jungle..... And as I had never illustrated an indiana jones type scene in my style I wanted to try it and at the same time to be able to practice lighting.
Para la idea y el boceto de esta ilustración lo primero que tenia en mente era que debía ser una composición donde pudiese utilizar diferentes iluminaciones, así que se me ocurrió hacerlo dentro de una selva.... Y como nunca había ilustrado una escena tipo indiana jones en mi estilo quise intentarlo y a la vez poder practicar iluminación.

For this illustration I spent at least two hours looking for references of totem poles in real life and color palettes that can be seen in this type of compositions, and so I was composing little by little, I made many changes but they turned out very well.
Para esta ilustración pase al menos unas dos horas buscando referencias de Tótems en la vida real y de paletas de color que mas se pueden apreciar en este tipo de composiciones. y Así fui componiendo poco a poco, hice muchos cambios pero resultaron muy bien.

I was inspired mainly by two things; Indiana Jones and the game Crash which is one of the games of my childhood that I love the most and I thought it was an excellent detail to capture it in my illustration. One of the problems I had when doing it was the color palette. It was a bit confusing to want to use earth tones but at the same time not to repeat the same tones because then it would look very monochromatic. Despite all that I am very happy with the result of this composition and the lighting I was able to achieve. Tell me what you thought of this illustration and what you would like to see in this style.
Me inspiré principalmente en dos cosas; Indiana Jones y el juego de Crash que es uno de los juegos de mi infancia que mas amo y me pareció un detalle excelente plasmarlo en mi ilustración. uno de los problemas que se me presentaron al hacerlo fue la paleta de color. Fue un poco confuso querer utilizar tonos tierras pero que a la misma vez no se repitieran los mismos tonos porque luego iba a parecer muy monocromática. A pesar de todo eso estoy muy feliz con el resultado de está composición y la iluminación que pude lograr. Cuéntame que te ha parecido esta ilustración y que te gustaría ver en este estilo.
