Hi everyone! I'll be participating again in the @splinterlands art contest, this time with the Runemancer Florre character, so join me to see the process.
Decidí tomarme una fotografía para utilizarla de referencia, fue una posición sencilla pero quería plasmar una buena proporción en el cuerpo.
I decided to take a picture of myself to use as a reference, it was a simple position but I wanted to capture a good proportion in the body.
Como ven, traté de darle más protagonismo al brazo biónico. Adapté la postura de la referencia a un cuerpo femenino, un poco más sensual e inclinando el cuerpo. Aun no tenía en claro qué tipo de fondo haría, pues quería pintar algo como un bosque mágico.
As you can see, I tried to give more prominence to the bionic arm. I adapted the pose of the reference to a female body, a little more sensual and leaning the body. I still didn't know what kind of background I would do, as I wanted to paint something like a magical forest.
Aquí ya había adelantado gran parte de lo que quería. El brazo biónico me llevó más tiempo completarlo, pero al final el resultado me gustó. En esta ocasión fui bastante fiel al personaje original, cambié cositas mínimas. Algo que me encantó haber exagerado fue los ojos y sus pestañas, además que lleva gemas como siempre. Como dibujo me encanta, esperemos a pintarlo para ver si también me gustaría así.
Here I had already advanced much of what I wanted. The bionic arm took me longer to complete, but in the end I liked the result. This time I was quite faithful to the original character, I changed a few minor things. Something I loved to have exaggerated was the eyes and his eyelashes, plus he wears gems as always. As a drawing I love it, let's wait to paint it to see if I would like it as well.
El pajarito decidí hacerlo diferente, aunque siempre pregono que mi estilo es más semirealista, también tengo que aceptar que me encanta caricaturizar algunas cosas, en este caso el pájaro se convirtió en un círculo de plumas adorable. Lo siento, tengo debilidad por personajes así de adorables y esponjosos ♥
The little bird I decided to make it different, although I always proclaim that my style is more semi-realistic, I also have to accept that I love to caricature some things, in this case the bird became a circle of adorable feathers. Sorry, I have a weakness for characters this adorable and fluffy ♥
