... and in my mind's eye, I could see the story ... a mortal man, limited, bound, and yet holding up the shield of faith and bracing behind it... but it was a painstaking process to bring the figures out because every space had to be colored individually ... a real labor of love, colored in mind of the men of my community (shout out to Congressional Medal of Honor winner Officer Eugene Goodman, the hero of January 6, 2021).
