Buenos días, tardes o noches, bienvenidos a mi post. Un nuevo dibujo apareció el día de hoy, una chica con cabello rojo y ¿por qué no algo de sensualidad,? Y claro está llenar una parte de líneas es como una afición que tengo con el dibujo. El cabello rojo y lo demás es obvio, recordé un poco la movida del funk por allá a finales de los 60`s, así que lápiz a la mano y vamos por un post lleno de afro y funk.
Good morning, afternoon or evening, welcome to my post. A new drawing appeared today, a girl with red hair and why not some sensuality? And of course filling a part with lines is like a hobby that I have with drawing. Red hair and the rest is obvious, I remembered a bit of the funk movement back in the late 60s, so pencil in hand and let's go for a post full of afro and funk.
Me recordé de la época funk de los 70`s y recordaba una de esas películas viejas, no recuerdo el nombre para ser sinceros, pero de lo que sí me queda en la memoria es de la chica bailando con su cabello afro a lo que me dije ¿Si su afro fuera rojo? ¿Por qué no? Y me dediqué a bocetear sobre un fondo beige pálido.
I remembered the funk age of the 70s and I remembered one of those old movies, I don't remember the name to be honest, but what I still have in my memory is the girl dancing with her afro hair to what I said to myself, if her afro was it red? why not? And I sketch over a pale beige background.
Decidí entonces hacer un poco de lineart para el contorno y algunas partes. Pero para el cabello no mucho, tenía planes especiales para ese cabello más adelante. Así como el funk en la música de hoy día, cosa que voy a dejar para más adelante.
So I decided to do some lineart for the outline and some parts, but not much for the hair. I had special plans for that hair later on. Just like the funk in today's music. Which I'm going to leave for later.
Creé las manchas con los colores base de referencia tanto para el cabello como para la piel en general. Esto con la finalidad de dejar utilizar la menor cantidad de líneas en el cuerpo y reservando las líneas para el cabello. Es buen momento para recordar que el funk es un género musical que nació a finales de los años 60`s, cuando músicos fusionaron: soul, jazz, ritmos latinos, dando origen a un ritmo particular y una forma de cantar característica.
I created the spots with the reference base colors for both the hair and the skin in general. This in order to allow the least amount of lines to be used on the body and reserving the lines for the hair. Coloqué capas de colores de la piel para darle volumen al cuerpo, dejando otros detalles como los ojos y labios para más adelante. Y hablando un poco del funk. El padre del funk según muchos en 1967, aparece con un sonido característico de su música claramente reconocible al escuchar Cold Sweat (1967) donde nació el funk, con un riff dominante, pegadizo y bailable. James Brown que casi declama la letra, no muy cantada, tampoco muy hablada, técnica que es una de las principales influencias del estilo del rap.
Layer skin colors to give volume to the body, leaving other details like the eyes and lips for later. And speaking a little about funk. Una curiosidad acerca de origen del término del funk es que no se sabe quién bautizó al nuevo género. En su momento el termino fue rechazado por sus creadores, como ejemplo James Brown publicó en 1969 la canción llamada “Ain’t it Funky Now”, sin embargo, el termino Funk ya se usaba para definir la música que él acababa de inventar.
