Morning guys!
let me show you another piece with a different approach on the process. it was in the middle of the pandemic last 2020 and my printer ran out of inks! LOL I did this artwork to sell during the hard times of pandemic and still available for purchase. let me walk you through my drawing process:
The Batman Pen and copics 11x17 comicboard
Digital Layout
I was just thinking of a simple pose, Batman brooding on a gargoyle while looking down and the background was initially a stormy weather :)
Printer ran out of inks? no problem!
well since the unfortunate thing happened and I can't do anything about it because of the lockdowns I still manage to draw my initial layout paper by paper what I mean is I will sketch using my digital layout as my reference then flip the paper trace it again and again using my lightbox for a cleaner surface :)
Cleaner pencil lines :)
as you can see I made a lot of changes from my initial layout. that's the fun part of doing something to sell coz you can draw whatever and however you want it
Copic time!
*In this process I'm just enjoying working with a good background music. just chillin and let my skill flow :) *
Starting to see your work looking good
it's one of the greatest feeling of all when everything you doing is falling into the right places as you go along!
now few more coffee while working on the background and poof! I'm done :)
I love how this artwork end up. I'm having a hard time deciding if I let go of this one or not back then, but then I decided to sell it tho. (and it is still available just DM me for inquiry)
so, there you go guys I hope you appreciate this one :)
Have a great day!
