Hello Alien Art and Splinterlands community! We’re kicking off the week with my entry for this edition. The design is based on the Iziar card, which had a big impact on me, as I had to recreate her entire outfit from scratch.
The goal of this piece was to get closer to the game’s distinctive visual style, rather than simply creating an image without true editing commitment.The elements were generated with the help of AI, and using my usual techniques, I fully developed the final design.
Now, let me show you a bit more about how I arrived at the final result.
Hola comunidad de Alien Art y Splinterlands, comenzamos la semana con mi participación para esta edición. El diseño está basado en la carta Iziar, cuyo estilo me impactó profundamente, ya que me llevó a recrear por completo su traje.
Este trabajo tiene como objetivo acercarme cada vez más al estilo visual característico del juego, evitando crear imágenes sin un verdadero compromiso de edición. Los elementos fueron seleccionados con la ayuda de inteligencia artificial, y utilizando mis técnicas habituales, construí el diseño desde cero.
Ahora, los invito a ver un poco más sobre cómo se llegó al resultado final.
In the image above, you can see all the elements used. Starting with the white fabric and the model, which were merged to cut and shape the hood. Then I used golden fabric to create the ties that hold the hood together, aiming to replicate the original design as closely as possible.
I also added the iconic eye, along with digital painting on top to integrate all the components. Finally, I applied a green glow to the hood to enhance its visibility and make it stand out in the composition.
En la imagen de arriba pueden ver todos los elementos utilizados. Comenzando por la tela blanca y la modelo, que se fusionaron para recortar la tela y formar la capucha. Luego, usé una tela dorada para crear los lazos que unen la capucha, buscando replicar el diseño original lo más fielmente posible.
También añadí el ojo característico, junto con un trabajo de pintura digital por encima para integrar todos los elementos. Finalmente, apliqué un resplandor verde en la capucha para darle mayor visibilidad y destacar su presencia en la composición.
For her skin tone, I used a pink color taken directly from the base image, and through a color blending technique, I achieved the look I wanted. I used an image of rubies to complete her crown-like structure and added the final touches to the upper section of the composition.
Using the same piece of white fabric, I created the lower part of her dress. To complement it, I used a black fabric to craft the details and embroidered the edges, just as I did with the crown section above.
Para el tono de su piel, utilicé un color rosa extraído directamente de la imagen base. Luego, mediante una fusión de color, logré el resultado que buscaba.
Usé una imagen de rubíes para completar su especie de corona y añadir los últimos detalles en la parte superior de la composición. Con el mismo trozo de tela blanca, creé la parte inferior de su vestido, y para complementar, utilicé una tela negra con la que trabajé los detalles y realicé los bordes bordados, de forma similar a como lo hice en la parte superior con la corona.
The details were gradually added, and underneath each one I placed shadows to enhance the realism and depth of the design.
Without overcomplicating things, I used the same techniques mentioned earlier, but this time I’m sharing captures of the overall process so you can see how the piece took its final shape—especially the black smoke emerging from her clothing. For the lighting, I created a beam coming from above the design and completely darkened one side of her body. This allowed both her skin tone and green eye to stand out prominently in the rest of the composition.
Los detalles se fueron implementando poco a poco, y debajo de cada uno de ellos añadí sombras para generar mayor realismo y profundidad en el diseño.
Sin rodeos, utilicé las mismas técnicas mencionadas anteriormente, pero en esta ocasión les comparto capturas del proceso general para que puedan ver cómo la pieza fue tomando su forma definitiva, incluyendo el humo negro que emana desde su ropa. Para la parte de exposición, creé una luz que entra desde la parte superior del diseño, y oscurecí completamente la mitad de su cuerpo. Esto permite que tanto el tono de su piel como su ojo verde resalten con fuerza en el resto de la composición.
