People redeemed to their personality, to their way of being, to their soul... that same contrast within the self generates a dangerous and beautiful duality. The power to heal and hurt is present in each of us; the soul can attack other souls as well as protect and heal others. This representation carries that meaning: the insect, depicted as something positive, something beautiful approaching, that wonderful sense of foreboding that the soul recognizes. And on the other hand, the latent knowledge of the bad, that happiness or love has a period, or that we are capable of self-sabotage or experiencing the power of suffering.
Personas redimidas a su personalidad, a su modo de ser, a su alma... ese mismo contraste del ser genera una dualidad peligrosa y hermosa. El poder de sanar y lastimar está presente en cada uno de nosotros; el alma puede atentar contra otras almas, así como resguardar y sanar a otras. Esta representación trae consigo ese significado: el insecto, representado como algo positivo, algo hermoso que se aproxima, esa sensación maravillosa de presentimiento que el alma reconoce. Y por otra parte, el conocimiento latente de lo malo, de que la felicidad o el amor tienen un periodo de tiempo, o de que nosotros mismos somos capaces de autosabotearnos o de sentir el poder del sufrimiento.

To keep things moving and avoid boredom, I skipped several steps and focused on modifying the eyes with the ONI mask, painting the mask over the face and darkening the image with each layer worked in the program. This allows for a neater job to maintain order and be able to find the layer that needs to be improved or restored for the final art. If you observe, the wings were carefully erased to give the appearance that they are broken.
Para darle continuidad y no aburrir, salté varios progresos y me centré en modificar los ojos con la máscara ONI, pintando la máscara por encima del rostro y oscureciendo la imagen con cada capa trabajada en el programa. Esto posibilita un trabajo más prolijo para mantener un orden y poder encontrar la capa que se necesite mejorar o restaurar para el arte final. Si observan, las alas fueron borradas con cautela para dar la apariencia de que están rotas.
After two days of editing, I realized that the shell's wings were too wide open, so I decided to reduce their extension, giving the appearance of a break in the middle, showing the woman's face only on the right side with her eyes glowing in an orange that enhances the internal lights. I added the insect's corresponding legs and a background that connects with the insect. Finally, I added a kind of net that traps the insect, which serves only an aesthetic purpose and does not carry a specific meaning.
Después de dos días de edición, me di cuenta de que las alas del caparazón estaban demasiado abiertas y decidí reducir su extensión, dando la apariencia de una rotura en el medio, mostrando el rostro de la mujer solo del lado derecho y con los ojos resplandecientes en un naranja que acentúa aún más las luces internas. Agregué las patas correspondientes del insecto y un fondo que se relaciona con el insecto.
