I've long been fascinated by the idea of turning a painting into a movie, stepping into its reality to experience the canvas come alive.
Many of my paintings draw inspiration from 3D-generated models, which I've used to create immersive videos showcasing their underlying geometries. However, these videos captured the models, not the paintings themselves. Now, with advancements in AI, the possibilities are truly exciting. I can take any painting as a starting point and generate a video clip, guiding the process with a series of text prompts to bring my vision to life. The results are often unpredictable, which makes the process for me even more fascinating.
A painting serves as a gateway to another reality, brimming with surprises and adventures. You never know what might emerge within its structure or lie beyond it. It's like exploring an unknown world, where each step into the unfamiliar feels like a thrilling journey, with no certainty of what awaits.
