La idea original de este dibujo no era para nada como el resultado final, en un principio pensé en hacer algo parecido a un mono, del cual no hice mucho, si se fijan en la cabeza, el labio superior seria el de la boca del mono, y los ojos seria las fosas nasales, como empece por ahí, apenas vi que se parecía a una cabeza tome un camino distinto agregando cosas hasta llegar a este resultado.
The original idea of this drawing was not at all like the final result, at first I thought of doing something like a monkey, which I did not do much, if you look at the head, the upper lip would be the mouth of the monkey, and the eyes would be the nostrils, as I started there, as soon as I saw that it looked like a head I took a different path adding things until I got to this result.
Después de hacer cambios en la paleta de colores estuvo listo el diseño, un agregado que quedo solo en mi mente, si consideras que no da miedo, imagina el sonido de manos en el piso, que van corriendo hacia ti en la oscuridad, de ahí salio la idea de las manos, ahora con toda la idea del personaje aclarada, lo siguiente que hice fue hacer el boceto del dibujo detallado, tratando de agregar perspectiva y que esta sostenido de las paredes.
After making changes in the color palette the design was ready, an addition that remained only in my mind, if you consider that it is not scary, imagine the sound of hands on the floor, running towards you in the dark, from there came the idea of the hands, now with the whole idea of the character clarified, the next thing I did was to make the sketch of the detailed drawing, trying to add perspective and that it is supported by the walls.
En esta ocasión no hice lineart si no que aplique directamente el color, después fue solo cuestión de ir agregando capas y capas de luces y sombras en los lugares adecuados para dar profundidad, hasta llegar a la capa final de color negro con opacidad para dar la sensación de estar en un lugar oscuro y este seria el resultado final del diseño de mi monstruo, espero que les guste y de ser posible que también les cause temor.
This time I didn't do lineart but I applied directly the color, then it was just a matter of adding layers and layers of lights and shadows in the right places to give depth, until the final layer of black with opacity to give the feeling of being in a dark place and this would be the final result of the design of my monster, I hope you like it and if possible that it also causes fear.
