For many years I have attempted to keep a dream journal. I have been largely unsuccessful because it's very important to take note as soon as you wake up or else it slips away.
I am not a morning person so I almost never do anything before I have a coffee in me and that means bye bye dreams :(
I had a particularly vivid dream last week (aug 27th to be exact) and remembered it well enough to take down a quick artistic impression. In the dream I was watching a slowly panning scene of an ocean, there was some kind of platform in the water with people standing on it and huge waves were washing over them. They weren't getting knocked over and didn't seem afraid. This is roughly what it looked like:
TODAY I was going through old files and doing a bit of a clear out. I was starting with my oldest folders on this computer which are mostly from 2018 and I saw this art and it suddenly came back to me.
This is a previous dream that I captured and I remember making a blog post about it on stXXmit š I tried every which way with my google skills to find it and see what I wrote but I came up empty handed. They are not exactly the SAME but the similarities are striking enough that it gave me pause for a moment, the waves, the color palette, very strange!
This file was titled MECH_DREAM which funny enough I minted a completely different art on NFT Showroom with that title a few years back....
I don't know what this means other than I dream about the ocean a lot but it seems notable š½
