As if I don't already have enough to do I have decided to learn Blender! I am plagued with always wanting to learn all the things and blender has been on my list for a long time. I always though 3D software looked quite intimidating so I kept putting it off, but something finally nagged me enough that I decided to download it (it's free and open source!) and get started on some tutorials!
I have been following the beginner series by Grant Abbitt which is excellent, hands on and very well explained!
Blender is a pretty powerful program which allows modelling, sculpting, shading, lighting, animation and more. I am feeling pretty confident that I have the very basics down which has allowed me to play around and do some experimenting. Here are some samples of my output.

Adding my art as textures to objects!
and now I am exploring how to use keyframes to animate:
Little animation practice in #blender, somehow the eye seems to pop out for a split second, maybe I didn't join it correctly š¤£#blendergang pic.twitter.com/7wCQTNzmV7

I'm pretty excited to see how I can integrate 3D images in my work, I have lots of ideas that are probably far ahead of my skills right now, so I will keep learning one tutorial at a time.
If you are interested in learning I suggest jumping in right away, there is never a better time than now and once you start it is actually not so intimidating :)
