I played around with this program a bit last year and ended up publishing an AR filter on Snapchat called Cyber Geisha. I am not in any way an expert at the program but I figured the the basics of using the mask effect with my art. You can import images and adjust the blend modes and shift the mask around for some pretty freaky (sometimes cool and sometimes terrifying) results.
For this one I used a modified version of my art titled: Hallucinate through time. I brightened it up and mirrored so it would lay better over a face

This one made no sense to use as a mask but I tried it anyways:
The interface has about 10 million option and reminds me very much of Blender, at some point I got lost in the panels and couldn't find my way back to the face mesh LOL. At that point I decided to give it a rest for the day....
Looking into some tutorials to hopefully figure out where I went wrong. Maybe more to come :D
