Here is my latest collage artwork to be minted at my gallery which you can see on the Hive blockchain at https://nftshowroom.com/gallery/julianhorack_collages-julescape-q1-2025_new-year-vision.
After over a year of not making any art, I have completed some more works in my usual collage style. This one I call New Year Vision because I completed the picture around the early January period of 2025, just around new year's day.
After the long hiatus, inspiration and opportunity allowed me to put a little perhaps naive image, which shows I'm out of practice. It also shows, though, that my new style is more experimental and abstract. I'm aiming to dissolve boundaries and use swathes of color, rather than all clear cut imagery.
The portrait theme with mask is not new since I've done a previous collage in a similar style which you can view in my gallery. Also the Buddhist monk theme is not new, nor the use of jewels. These are fundamental symbols that run throughout much of my collages.
The mask is perhaps coming off in this image while the golden raidance shines brightly around the head of what appears to be the goddess who is being adorned by the monks and priests around her, like a deity.
The monk on the top left showers gems down as the mercy of the goddess flows. This is my vision for 2025 becasue 2025 is not only the year of the bitcoin bull market and cryptocurrency rise to new highs in value, but also a year for symbolic inner awakening of the muse and goddess.
She is also known in Sanskrit as Radha or Lakshmi, the latter name being synonymous with money or wealth. She is the goddess of fortune, the consort of Vishnu or Krishna. As an afterthought before uploading the collage, I went on a new route and added more text to the picture. The names of the god Krishna are on the left of the mask and the names of the goddess Radha or Lakshmi are on the right.
The black cat adds some more of the feminine element. Also I added, for the first time, a few digital pen marks visible very subtly on the left. This primitive art is naive and sophisticated at the same time, old school and new school, paper and Blockchain.
Tee primarily pink and red theme is symbolic of the goddess and the monks in red robes. Counter to that is the cool blue shards that splash out of the gold crown like an aura or halo, like the rays of the golden sun, like they would on the daughter of the sun. Pink, gold and turquoise are a key combination in the work.
If the vision is accurate and the manifestation credible, as it indeed is, we are currently seeing the beginning of the massive uptrend in bitcoin price and with that the rise of our protfolio value. The goddess will be merciful and the jewels will flow, like mercy from above.
Not only in dollar value but also in downloading of consciousness upgrade in this time of awakening, as the sun pumps out massive solar mass ejections towards the end of its solar maximum eleven year cycle this year. Coinciding with the bitcoin price pump, which as we are seeing is slightly delayed, though still on track to new all time highs.
This is the vision for 2025.
I've minted 64 editions of this particular work, which is a bigger number than usual, simply because it is a simple early art work in this year's range, so I'll sell them in batches of ten, very cheaply starting at 1 Hive each. If these sell, I'll increase the price to 2 Hive for the next ten.
The portrait collage could be seen to be a kind of self-portrait too, since all works echo the mind of the artist at the time. You can see the hard outer male mask, with the female face inside. All this is happening as Venus conjuncts Neptune in the heavens right now, close to my natal Ascendant and Saturn in early Aries of the tropic or western zodiac.
When the hard outer mask is able to crack open, it allows the inner muse to emerge, the anima. Are those dentures emerging from their place in the mouth?
Future works this year will have less editions minted and cost more per NFT.
Be sure to check out the Hive NFT art gallery at the link above to see more of my work as well as that of other artists on the Hive blockchain. I spent some time recently browsing the digital NFT galley, with great pleasure and even bought a few NFT artworks for my collection. When last have you browsed through a modern art gallery? It's a very inspiring pastime.
