Blue Velvet On Black | Mixed Media Project

My approach to this project was a bit different from usual as I located first a background image that caught my attention with is varying shades of dark blue to light gray. Normally, I'll discover a photo that inspires me and build from that.

To break up the bluish tones, I used a photo of a free-sourced female image with black attire. What drew me to the female image were her eyes that felt as if a hole was being bored through my soul.

Adding to the scene were bulbs which held a Klein bottle I retrived from StarryAI, a stable diffusion program. The Klein Bottle I investigated and was able to produce several type bottles from the descriptive text input that were beautiful and ethereal in design. The style of Klein Bottle I used in my design I titled "Other Worldly Klein Bottle Phenomenon".

Below are my steps:

Utilizing Canva, my design program, I blended the different type images, adding layers of elements in accordance with my upgraded Annual Pro Membership. With these tools I'm able to remove backgrounds, resize, filter, duplicate, and reposition items as required. I share my creation progress in pictures.
